He is the editor of Black Orpheus, author of several books on African art and literature, including African Mud Sculpture, and one of the founders of the Mbari clubs in Ibadan and Oshogbo. He likes translating poetry from Yoruba and German."

Yeah this book was what it said on the tin. Definitely not meant to be read from cover to cover but for research, but I enjoyed the reading process as I felt it gave me a fuller range of African literature. I’d like to have more information on the authors themselves: i.e. are they Africans themselves? I found a lot of the sections to be pretty slow but others to be really compelling
