Jasper wants two things in life; to help people with his magic and the sexy detective who keeps arresting him. His enemy wants two things as well; to destroy every part of Jasper’s life…and then to end it.
Jasper Belmont is a third-generation crystal witch whose lifelong dream has been to open a store for his one-of-a-kind and custom-designed crystal jewelry creations. He’s only a few weeks away from making that dream a reality when he attracts a stalker who turns his life into a nightmare.
What starts out as a few embarrassing incidents quickly escalates until everything he’s worked for is systematically destroyed. Then someone from his past falls prey to a crystal magic attack…and Jasper is the main suspect. Which is a problem since the lead detective is sharing his bed.
Jasper is now on the hunt to stop his stalker before they hurt anyone else.
His stalker has set their sights on the man who is Jasper’s Forever.

This was definitely a good introduction to this new series. It did take me a little bit to get into it but by the end, I was hooked. I can't wait to see what happens next.
This is the first book in the series and I loved it but was so mad about the freaking cliffhanger! Although the epilogue has me so ready for the rest of this series. Just be forewarned that this will not be tied up in a pretty bow at the end and you will have lots of unanswered questions to this mystery.
This book takes a little bit to get fully invested but I appreciated that you start off with some history of the town and the Belmont family (Jasper's family). Once you get to present day you have part of the history of the town to help you understand what's going on in the background. This is a mystery story but Jasper's family, especially his mother, made me cackle throughout this. That woman is a force to be reckoned with but she has absolutely no filter and I LOVE IT!! Jasper is a crystal witch, which is something new that I haven't read about before and he is in the process of finishing the setup for his new crystal store that he has dreamed of opening. Unfortunately for him, he has acquired a stalker within weeks of opening his shop. The craziest things start to happen that all point to him causing the issues/crimes.
In comes Gabe and his partner Emerson, as they are assigned the case to look into the strange occurrences happening around Jasper. Gabe and Jasper have such a strong reaction to each other each time they meet and Gabe surely doesn't know what to do about it. Gabe is convinced that Jasper is causing all this trouble himself in order to gain attention for his new crystal shop that's opening. He has been hurt before and seems to keep taking it out on poor Jasper.
There is a lot of magic in this that is tied to crystals and a meteorite. This is a mystery story that involves a stalker and a evil background group that will show up as the series continues. There were several times that I wanted to smack Jasper in the back or the head or shake him because the clues were right in front of his face. Either way, this is a fun read. It is low angst, high action with fade to black sex. While the characters have steamy reactions to each other, you're only told after the fact what they kind of got up to.

Jasper’s family were given a shard from the meteorite that had fallen in an orchard in their town. People used to come and ask it for favors and if it wanted it would grant them. The meteor closed itself off from being used by evil. Jasper was trying to open up a crystal shop and selling his special jewelry that were made to help different people’s needs. But then his face was on tv and not a good one and his body was on display on a billboard and his mural on his store vandalized and the detectives that showed up the crystals told him was his mate. Gabe had him taken in and said that it wasn’t nothing but a publicity stunt, was taken in again when fireworks were set off on top of his store. Jasper’s ex was found behind his store had been hit with black magic and put in a coma pus Jasper had to get rid of a bad black magic hex. Taken in for attempted murder but finally Gabe had to admit that Jasper was innocent and he really felt the mate pull to Jasper. The person attacking him was obsessed with his ex and Lucas didn’t want Elwood, mother gave him the shard to keep him safe. In a bad accident but saved then the chain broke and Elwood kidnapped him. Jasper’s family and Gabe got to him before he was killed and Gabe admitted how he felt about Jasper. Good book!.

This is the first book that I have read by this author and it won't be the last. I absolutely loved this book. This is the story of Jasper Belmont and Gabe Prescott. Jasper is a crystal witch and is working getting his new business off the ground. He starts having a few small problems but they quickly escalate. After his mural is damaged he believes he has a stalker. The police come out to see the damage to his store. Gabe is a Detective and believes that Jasper is making up the stalker story. He thinks that it is all a publicity event to pump up his stores opening. Gabe's partner doesn't agree but Gabe is looking at things through the bias of his last relationship. When the stalker ups his attacks, Gabe finally wakes up and sees things as they are. This is their story. I loved the interaction between Gabe and Jasper. Their chemistry was off the charts. This is a really well written book and very easy to read. I am looking forward to book 2 in this series.

Sheri Eleese has just started this great new mm paranormal/magic series set in a town called Starfall Grove because a meteor fell there that has had magical effects on the town and it’s people. This is a slow build story as well as a slow building romance between a witch called Jasper and a very skeptical cop called Gabe. The book is intense in physical action as Jasper is stalked by an unknown person but like a lot of Ms. Eleese’s works it’s fade to black for the other kind of action. There is however a lot of slow burn tension between the two main characters and the overall story is a great one. Everything is well plotted out and contains embarrassing parents who over share, way too many donuts and lots of interesting magic. More please.

The sex talk is HYSTERICAL! Jasper is opening a crystal store, hoping to use his gifts for good. He attracts a stalker who had a different idea for Jasper and his talents. Seemingly accidents keep happening and Detective Gabe thinks Jasper is deliberately causing them to bring attention to his grand opening. Jasper tries to find out who may not like him as much as he thought and his ex, Lucas hints to some knowledge, but he's not very helpful. His best friend, Spencer his next door neighbor takes a bit of getting used ot. Jasper is a nice guy, but he seems to be a bit clueless. Funny story, Gabe and Jasper have a lot to work through the least of which is the mystery of the stalker. Great story, fantastic mystery, excellent new series beginning. The author did a fantastic job setting the community Starfall Grove up. Well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a story of a meteorite with great power, it bestows it’s blessings on individuals it feels are worthy. One such person is Jasper Belmonts mother and family. There is a stalker messing with Jasper who is opening a crystal store. The police question if the incidents happening are him getting free publicity or if he’s a victim. The stalker is like a shadow never leaving evidence except to point the finger at Jasper. The story is the first in a magical mystery, with danger, jealousy and love. Looking forward to the adventure to come.
Though he was a crystal witch, Jasper wants to open a crystal shop and do good things. Unfortunately, Jasper is dealing with a stalker who is messing with his plans and making him look bad. The silver lining for him is that it brings grumpy detective Gabe into his life. Grumpy, sexy detective Gabe who, once Jasper gets through the mystery, intrigue and danger wrought by the stalker turns out to be Jasper's one and only. This was a good story and a good opener to the series.

I really enjoyed this fun and engaging start to a new series. The world-building and community development is good, and I love the characters (primary and secondary)! Some mystery and suspense, stalking, a bit of opposites attract, sexy detective, interesting magic system...I think this is a great start for a new series, and I am looking forward to more. Pretty low-angst and no detailed on-page sex scenes, although the MCs definitely have plenty of chemistry. Nice cover, too.

A crystal witch would be interesting enough, but throw in some intrigue, mystery, and a connection with a grumpy yet attractive detective and there’s an intriguing blend of genres and tropes to work through. Jasper is a compelling central character, and honestly there are interesting facets to each of the people who move through these pages— definitely a cast, and world, I’d like to see more of.

A good introduction to this new series with some unique characters. Jasper is a crystal witch who is a very intriguing character that can't seem to catch a break. The storyline does take a while to get into but do persevere as this magical mystery with plenty of danger, jealousy and love will keep you hooked. Looking forward to the next in series.

Great start to a new series! The author brings an interesting storyline as well as the strong characters in Jasper and Gabe who have a strong connection. She adds in strong supporting characters and weaves a terrific read. I'm looking forward to reading more.

OOO! I loved this story. It was so exciting and caught me off guard. I did not expect to find out that the one doing all of this was crazy. So much happened. Awesome story. I do believe that it will take some time to finish this one. I will enjoy the telling. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This was not what I expected when I started. The first prechapters read like YA…then it definitely isn’t. The trouble Jasper gets into brings the reader into the story and it is easy to empathize for his situation. It reads easily and is super fun!.

First book I’ve read by the this author, also it’s the first in a new series, i enjoyed the story it took a bit for the story to fully capture my interest but once it did I enjoyed it and looking forward to reading more from this series and author.
Weird! I think someone used the riddikulus spell (one of Harry Potter's spells) on this book. Why do I say this? If you read it, you'll find out when you start reading Chapter One and have to agonize with Jasper over his mother's nonsense about his father's frightening expressions during orgasm! I stopped reading immediately; it really is riddikulus!
