I bought it originally because I thought it was going to be a book like the film - I know, but I thought there was at least a story line. It has some funny pictures and the rules are pretty much like they are in the film but otherwise. Not really worth what I’d payed for it. Shame really.

I’m not giving this any stars because it feels kinda weird for it being so short and not really what I expected? Its funny and quick. I expected it to be more fulfilled with text and less pictures. I’m not really disappointed I’m just confused. It’ll look good on my shelf next to my DVD though.

If you’re looking at getting this because you love the movie and want more background from it. This isn’t exactly it. Imagine a first grade chapter book with pictures on every page and it being more adult oriented (dirty). This is that it’s nice and a quick. Gives some intake and inside of what the movie was based on.

Found this book in a nonfiction book about romantic comedies, had no idea that one of my fav. rom coms is based on a book (and a very read at that). There's rules and suggestions that make an appearance in the film: 'buy him a plant, tell him you love him early on, leave your stuff at his place, select an animal to adopt together, call his family, mandatory couples therapy, and more. There's also some tricks that didn't quite make it into the film (from what I can remember): keep comparing the guy to your father, wear his clothes, rent 'When Harry Met Sally', engrave your names on a T shirt, etc.

Cute read, very funny, but not quite worth owning in one's collection - this own was found courtesy of the Interlibrary Loan Department of my local library - they are all rock stars!

Absolutely dated and written for the people who buy it, like most etiquette books. I will use the same line for most etiquette books.

Genius, though. And that they made a movie out of a book of stick figures is fun too, though the book is funny & heartbreaking, and the main characters in the movie are horrible people

This is a funny and down to earth book. What do women do that ruins a relationship? At times, the book is laugh out loud funny and other times the story reminds you of something that actually happened. I couldn't put the book down.

If nothing works, quote the old saying- "if you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you. it was meant to be."

This book made me feel like a child. I couldn’t even make it through half of it. This was horrible.

This book is a little pricey for what it is, a comic. It was funny, but there isn't much to it.

4/10: some of these rules were outdated and I didn’t expect the book to be this format

Lo siento, esto no es un libro. Hace falta algo más que páginas y una portada para serlo. He recibido correos electrónicos con más texto y he visto mejores dibujos en clases de preescolar.

GENIAL🤩

This book should be given to every 15 year old girl in the world. It would save us all from being "that girl". I have sent this to every one of my single girlfriends any time they even remotely resembled this story. And occasionally I am forced to remind myself that we can all lose our way and slip into being "THAT GIRL". Ugh. It is funny, because it is true. Sigh.

I read the book because i liked the movie. But it was a let-down . Though i was impressed by the pictorial style of telling(It was actually very funny), the book was a series of dont-do principles.Obviously the book didnt have a central story which i generally expect. Watch the movie instead of the book.

This was about a 10 minute read. There is one sentence, with a stick figure drawing, on each page. It's funny enough, but if you've seen the movie they made based off this book, you already have the basic idea.

It was a quick read. It was a child-like written book with stick-people in crayons. I thought of the Dummies books, but this is much easier to read hilarious at times too. I also watched the movie of which followed most of the actions in the movie entitled, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

A fun, fast-reading match-figure pictorial. Nevertheless I wouldn't read it when riding the subway in fear of looking like an idiot.

My apartment has an excellent shelf of discarded books in the laundry room.

I saw the movie first then read this book and I must say that I enjoyed the movie more than this but this book also had it's difference from the movie that sets it apart.
