Worth reading, but I'm not sure if it is worth purchasing. It would be very helpful to read at diagnosis, but I'm not sure it contains information you would really need to return to frequently. It covers all topics, but if we were facing a problem, I would want more information than it presents. Very readable. One of a few books in my area available from the library on this topic.

A lot of important information for parents and families that have a child/teen diagnosed with juvenile arthritis. Living with juvenile arthritis myself, I learned a great deal from this book and feel much more equipped to deal with my treatment. I recommend this to parents and teens themselves soon after diagnosis.

My son’s pediatric rheumatologist had us sign up for the Arthritis Foundation’s power pack, and I’m so glad we did. This 2024 edition was a well-written, comprehensive resource that we received for free. I’ll definitely hang on to this and refer to it!
