Siku Kayak 251pp ( w/lots of photos) A refreshing narrative about a couple's 1,400 mile kayak (homemade!) journey along the Alaskan coast that ended near the Canadian border in the Arctic. This a day read in part due the author's engaging style and the many accompanying photos. The book sports no false heroics despite paddling in the ocean, seeing numerous bear, fighting ice floes, and being confronted with the most dangerous of all nuisances: man. Great read, especially for boaters!
