Mandatory reading for every boater

I grew up boating on Wisconsin lakes and now have my own boat on the Chain in Illinois, yet I learned more from this book than experience ever taught me. Makes me feel like I've been winging it my whole life. I'll definitely be enrolling in a boating safely course as a result of reading this book which I'm certain the author will be happy to hear.
