I think Bulkley could have argued his points a little better than he did. He repeatedly used strawman fallacies and other logical fallacies to try to bolster his arguments against Psychology, and while I don't disagree with his conclusion, I do think there are better arguments that could have been used to make his points better. when we dont fully represent an opposing idea accurately our arguments are pointless. I think it is important to argue from a place of genuine understanding rather than assumption. I also think it is important to use clarity as much as possible, to define things as clearly as possible and to make arguments based in clarity and certainty. I just found myself asking questions like "what does bulkley mean by (blank)?" or "how id he defining (blank)?"

Ed Bulkley has an awesome way to share true information. In his books he has two sections to every chapter. One is a factual analysis of an issue followed by a fictional story in which the characters are faced with those same issues just discussed. It really helps a person to see how these issues play into our every day lives. You follow a couple facing marital problems and see them go in different directions as one seeks help in psychological methods while the other begins to discover there is a better way. From the issue of evolution to psychology to marital faithfulness this book encourages you to look at your life and ask yourself just how big is your God? Is He one who simply saves you from hell but is impotent to help you deal with the problems of life or is your God powerful enough to save you and sustain you through any trial life may bring your way? This book is informative and entertaining at the same time, a true joy to read. Recommended for everyone, a must read!
