My interests: Writing, reading, exploration of the self, casual bodybuilding, humanitarian adventure, spiritual awareness, exploration of the self, enjoyment of the passage time.

I read non-fiction when I'm writing: Biography, History, Current Affairs, especially related to military, political, and scientific themes. Last read, "Conquerors: How Portugal Forged the First Global Empire" by Roger Crowley. When not writing, I read the best current fiction I can find, lately: "My Struggle", Karl Ove Knausgaard, "A Little Life", Hanya Yanagihara, "All the Light We Cannot See", Anthony Doerr.

About Me: I am drawn to beauty however it manifests. I'm addicted to peace of mind, as well as its opposite state, romantic love. I'm attracted to speed in machines, but given to slow-strolling as apposed to marching at a vigorous pace. I prefer rich food, but no much of it. I am entertained by anything not related to the dragon of ordinary life.
