The cities of Patna and Delhi are separated by 700 miles. The stories in this collection reflect the socio-cultural ramifications of such a geographic anomaly. These are, with few exceptions, stories of youth, love and loneliness and the attendant joy, alienation and heart break which comes along as a package deal. All the stories in this darkly comic and often whimsical collection thrive on a steady diet of subversion and dry wit.

Only a couple of short stories are good. It seems the author is dropping quite a few names from the literary & cinema world!
