ALincoln A COMMITMENT TO HONOR by Gordon Leidner was an inspiring book to read.
The book has twelve sections including: Leadership, Honesty, Faith, The People, Kindness, Liberty, Common Sense, Character, Democracy, Perseverance, Humor and Hope. Each section included Lincoln’s verified statements in writing, statements attributed to Lincoln from second hand sources or statements from people who knew Abraham Lincoln in one capacity or another which were perceived credible by several reliable sources.
One quote of Abraham Lincoln in the Hope section was, “The struggle of today is not altogether for today —- it is for a vast future also.”
