Way too short. Way too small. Some of the works represented are 46x46. The oil painting comic book artist have always been my favorites (Ashley wood, Kent Williams, and john j Muth) I love that some sketchbook drawings are included so we can see how expressive and organic his lines are. You can tell a great deal about a person from their line and I've never been a straight line drawer fan. I love that the background colors are repeated throughout his figures. Illustrates and understanding of flow, color, and values.
I'm sad that some of the books in the Sparrow series are out of print and rising in price.

small book of paintings & drawings, almost all figurative & portraits, some nudes by kent williams. all amazing work, though i found myself most captivated by the linework of his penciled and ballpoint pen drawings.
