Really good book about Bolivar's life. Funny how all these revolutionaries seem to go on walks/journeys and then after that they start a revolution. Che, Mao, Bolivar as just some examples. This book was really well written, and portrayed not only the military victories and (many) losses of Bolivar, but also his life. A good book also to understand the constant rivalry between Colombia and Venezuela, as well as the initiation of the conflict between Peru and Ecuador.

If you haven't read much about Latin America of the early 19th century, this is a very insightful short and easy read.
