A book of 365 daily devotional taken from Charles Haddon Spurgeon's earlier sermons from the Metropolitan Tabernacle. These have been carefully selected. Because Spurgeon treated every occasion as a unique opportunity for evangelism, an outstanding feature of these extracts is the diversity of the subjects covered, and their relevance to contemporary Christians.
Once again it has been good to have a bit of Spurgeon as part of my daily devotions. I continue to find Crosby's "For Meditation" at the end of each passage to be a good addition.
