Designing with Color: Featuring the Artists of Autumn Leaves

Rate this book
What color describes you favorite teacher? your grandmother? your best friend? What do you think about when you see the color red? blue? Clearly, color is emotion and a way to communicate feelings. It's also a powerful tool. Did you know that the color blue is an appetite suppressant? Some diets suggest putting food on a blue plate or putting a blue light in your refrigerator to make the late night munchies disappear. Who thought color could be so influential? The Designing with Color artists have captured their emotion on the pages of their scrapbooks through the colors they chose. And so can you! The feelings you express through color can be as strong or stronger than your title or journalizing. Take a ride on this creative color wheel and learn everything from color fundamentals to the powerful impact of color.

One of my least favorite of the series. Doesn't really explore either color theory or give true innovative uses for color on scrapbook pages.
