The Babe: A Life in Pictures

Rate this book
The Babe celebrates the life and times of the man who most was the baseball player agree greatest ever. With hundreds of photographs, many of them rare, this book dramatically recounts Babe Ruth's classic rags-to-riches story in chronological sequence. Hank Aaron, who surpassed Ruth's career home-run record, contributes an affectionate preface.

I happened to stumble across the wonderful book full of pictures and great text written by Lawrence Ritter about the great Babe Ruth. Anyone who is a fan of baseball, know who The Babe is. The book brings him to life with photos and stories from every facet of his life. It is a "coffee table sized book" and these types of books I just typically just skim through. But this book had incredible pictures and I savored each one.
