Doug Jones is pretty funny. He also has a lot to say about sustainable eating culture in the city. I admit I didn't fall in love with any of the recipes, but we have tried the beet/goat cheese/arugula salad and it's a keeper.
If you want to know something about the beginnings of farmer's-market, CSA, Sustainable food movement, this is a good place to look. Mind you, if I weren't trying out a few of the recipes, I'd have passed it on to the next person by now.

Didn't enjoy the recipes, but found his narratives about quirky NY/NJ farming experience worthy a smile.
