"Most people say that what Rabbi Neuwirth permits, everyone permits; what he prohibits, check on with your local Orthodox Rabbi. Obviously this is not really true, but it is important to note that Rabbi Neuwirth is very careful with his language; he differentiates between ""one should not"" and ""one must not,"" and the reader should be alert to the nuances of his language. Our family has found that not only does Rabbi Neuwirth's compendium cover many questions that arise, but it is a valuable family learning opportunity which for many years we used by briefly covering a section a week at the Shabbos table."
