Gotta be prepared with all your instrumentation when you go out in the field, and you gotta make copies and label the copies and be prepared for anything. It's a bit deprecated by technology but it's interesting

I read its third Edition published at 2003 by Wiley. simply its not a textbook but a book to introduce some new and basic methods and technics and some important key notes in their application in field. so if you are looking for some basic applied geophysics withouth much mathematics and like to know how to implement some methods in field this book is helpful but sure not enough.
