This is an early published work of Terry Louise Fisher, who would go on to write episodes for TV and co-create TV primetime L.A. Law. It was compelling and reasonably fast paced. Fisher's characters are fairly well developed and seemingly spot on for the 70s, as far as depth and motivation goes. It's been a while since I've read mass market fiction almost 50 years old.
