This is the sweetest little devotional book I have ever seen. It is a rare copy. Mine is bond with duct tape. It was a gift to my beloved grandmother from my husband, our son, and myself in 1974 for the occasion of her birthday. To say it is priceless explains it's value to me. The writing is complied from The Living Bible. The selections are wonderful, and there are two for each day. Every time I read it, I hear the Lord speaking directly to me through the words.

I love this devotional. It has encouraged me for years and is literally falling apart. Much like the original Daily Light created and compiled by Samuel Baxter and Jonathan Baxter, this devotional of scriptures around a topic, uses The Living Bible for its text (1972). Anne Graham Lotz' Daily Light would make a suitable replacement.
