I really enjoyed this collection. Very wide range of dark military sci-fi stories, and all about 2-6 pages length. You can knock each story out in a few minutes time. Well-crafted all around, and provocative range of ideas and plots, settings, etc. I am definitely going to be looking into more collections by this editor/publisher.

Pleasantly surprised with this collection, as military SF can get exhausting to read, but this collection offers a nice variety of takes on the genre that keep it fresh from the first story to the last. I'm amazed with how much storytelling and worldbuilding was achieved in each bite-sized flash piece. "Turning the Tide" and "All the Good Boys" were real standouts from the anthology, but overall I found something to enjoy about every story included.
