I bought this when I was in the throes of Babylon 5 fandom because it had a picture of Captain John Sheridan on the back, and I was curious to see how well a star (noted for Westerns) could tell a story. Overall, it was a decent story, if a bit of a thin/cliched premise. I think the story could have benefited from a heavy handed editor. So many passages, while well written, were utterly extraneous to the story, and only served to bog things down. What could have been a rollicking old west adventure became a data dump slog. It had promise, but didn't quite deliver.
