Delicious recipes from one of my favorite tv chefs. They are easy to make and don't require many steps.
Great for weekday meals when you might not have as much time as on the weekends.

Any book of recipes which features cilantro in vast quantities is a winner to me. So far I've only made the aguadito - quite tasty - but I plan to tackle the rest this summer. While the cutesy "chica" tips can be a little annoying and Cosmo-girly, the recipes are straightforward and beautifully photographed. The best thing about her recipes is that I already have many of the ingredients in my own pantry, and I can find most of the rest at my local grocery.

I am slightly disapointed with some of the recipes. Lots of ingredients, many would be hard to find in some areas. Very fattening stuff as well. It does seem as if what she makes on her show is less time consuming as some of the recipes in her book. I do plan on keeping the book and trying out a few of the easier, healthier recipes.
