Some Christians believe that God put sickness on them for a purpose. But in order to see God, we must look at Jesus. Did Jesus ever put sickness on anyone? When people came to Him for healing, did He turn them away? No! Not once! Jesus went about doing good and healing! The Bible Healing Study Course provides scriptural proof that it is God's will to heal you. Your healing is an accomplished fact, and this invaluable Bible Study Course shows how you can make the promise of healing a reality in your life.Chapter titles -- God's Will for You -- Healing Is a Good Gift -- Roadblocks to Healing -- The Laying On of Hands -- Faith and Power -- Two Ingredients for Receiving Healing -- The Healing Anointing
Rev. Kenneth Erwin Hagin, known as the “father of the modern faith movement,” served in Christian ministry for nearly 70 years.
In 1968, Rev. Hagin published the first issues of The Word of Faith magazine, which now has a monthly circulation of more than 300,000. The publishing outreach he founded, Faith Library Publications, has circulated worldwide more than 65 million copies of books by Rev. Hagin, Rev. Kenneth W. Hagin, and several other authors. Faith Library Publications also has produced more than 9 million audio teaching CDs.
Just like the other Study Courses, clear, concise, letting the Bible explain the Bible. Lots of real life stories, too, so no danger of dryness. My favourite quote is about how we often don't see what the Bible really says because we have been religiously trained rather than scripturally taught. So true!
This book is for the Christian believer, it is just wasted on the scoffers. I found this a long read with many repetitive explanations, but maybe that is the intention to drive home the point. Anyway, it was interesting all the way through, and informative also. Some parts seemed too incredible to be believed, the one where the author tells his own anecdotal stories, mostly credible but just a couple I found hard to digest. The quotes from the bible I have no problem with. Many bible passages mentioned were explained in detail and pointed to how they were related to healing. It does drive home also the way healing works and how to use God's power to heal a person or oneself. It explains how faith plays a part in the process and that healing can be carried out by anyone who has enough faith to believe. Just as Jesus tells us.
I have completed the first half (1-13) of this study guide for the first part of the class I am taking. Currently reading those chapters again to retain more of it. Guess repeating helps huh? LOL
