A good book to broaden your view of the history of the Western United States and to understand the passion that George Catlin had for Native Americans who lived there. The reproductions of Catlin's work is generous and compliments the text. An excellent rrad and visual feast for the eyes.

Loved this but wanted more! So much to know about Catlin. His life was extraordinary. Would make a great series on TV.
