A lively collection of poems about small things. From Emily Dickinson to e.e. Cummings, Christina Rossetti to Pablo Neruda and Lorca! There were even a few of my childhood favorites: Mary Ann Hoberman, Charlotte Zolotow, and Karla Kuskin. There were some unfamiliar names and new poems happily discovered. Here's one that made me smile and wonder, are there more?

Who tossed those golden coins,
The dandelions glittering
On my lawn?

I think this collection definitely accomplishes what it sets out to do and is a very sweet anthology I think would be great to share with kids
