Favourite of both my kids since they were little. They are more familiar with this version than the regular version of 12 Days of Christmas! Even though they are both old enough to read much more complex books, they still ask me to read/sing this to them everytime the Christmas books start to make an appearance, around Advent.

Does a nice job of fitting new lyrics to the original song, but it doesn't help that the song is annoying to begin with.

This might be one of my favorite Christmas books. I just read it for the first time. It is like the song The 12 Days of Christmas but with the Nativity. I love it so much.

Lovely illustrations and cute way to talk about the story of the nativity. I love the use of vocabulary like "cavorting" and "plodding" to follow the Twelve Days of Christmas song, but it's a little bit forced.

Too bad that the bible verses in the back weren't adapted towards younger readers. They were condensed passages from the King James Bible, so it's even clunkier than the original.

This is a simple book! Following the pattern of the 12 days of Christmas. You have 10 days, and it starts with One baby Jesus! You can read, sing, clap you way through but it’s sure to bring a smile to your face and joy in your heart!

I own it as a board book and a paperback book! I use it so often!
