The Importance of Edgar Allan Poe is a biography that I was finally excited to read. Poe is a widely known poet with short stories such as The Raven. This biography went into detail throughout Edgar Poe's life and experiences. From a child scholar in his early years, education in other countries, struggling to find a stable job, up to his last appearance. This biography highlights both Poe's high times and low points. This book gave me insight into Poe's short-lived life.
