Love with a perfect stranger...and in a perfect setting: aboard the Orient Express.
Against all reason, Torey had given her heart, carried away by the romance of her surroundings. But in less than twenty-four hours the trip would be over and Peter West, no longer a stranger, would leave her life forever.
Or would he? For the bonds of intimacy were strong, and the magical attraction of strangers was only the prelude to a love that would grow in richness through the years.

I doubt that he really loved her. Hell he didn't even remember her face after 3 months. What kind of love is that? He remembered his first crush and said that the elation that he felt about the promo dance when he was a child he never felt more elated in his life. That shows how little he feel for the h. I bet when he first want to marry the OW that he fell so hard, he didn't have any doubts but for the h, he didn't want to change his life. And he lied when he said that he normally don't have one night stands when the h usually don't do this kind of thing, he himself said when he wanted to bed a woman in the first 6 seconds he told them bluntly. What he felt for the h is pure animal lust. while the first time she had sex with him on the train, she realized that she loved him. When the next few hours they are parting, he just realized that he was seeing her as a person in the light of the day, when at night she just was a woman or any woman who arouseddeelply his sex instincts. She felt sexual chemistry with him like all heroines, but he like all the Hs felt sexual chemistry with any number of women. He pursued her at the beginning for a one night stand when he had faithful relationships one at time. That he pursued her for one night stand when he pursued others to have more time just shows what he really wanted for the h. I hate when they always said that they wanted the hs like is something special, when they always wanted other women as well with different degrees of attraction. His so called love for her in my opinion died after 3 months, how can I believe that he really loved her if he himself has doubts and didn't even remember what she looks like it. I doubt that he forgot his other importants OWs, for what I can gather he always will remember them. She was right to be cautious but nevertheless she was stupid at the end because she still loved and wanted him. She should left him after he confessing that he doubted that he loved her because he didn't remember her face. In the future if something made them apart he will soon forget her.
Love With a Perfect Stranger. There’s always a risk to be taken when you watch a movie before you read the book. I loved the movie with Marilu Henner and Daniel Massey. My mom and I must have watched it a dozen times over the years. I was thrilled when I found this book. It’s not a bad book. It’s so unlike the movie that I was disappointed. The author has writing skills. It’s so different that it’s like a whole different story all together.
