Cocktails, room service, spa Alicia Shaw is a girl who just can't say no to the little perks of being a private tour guide in London. Whether it is the Hollywood producer with whom she romps in the private screening room of one of London's most luxurious hotels, or the Australian pilot whose exhibitionist fantasies reach a new height on the London Eye, Alicia finds that flirtation—and more—is part of the territory. But when internationally renowned flamenco dancer and heartthrob Paco Manchega and his lovely young wife Carlotta take her on as their guide, Alicia begins to wonder if she has bitten off more than she can chew. As the couple unleashes curious appetites in Alicia, taking her to places more darkly beautiful than she has ever known, she begins to suspect she is being used as the pawn in some strange marital game.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked this up. There have been some Black Lace books I've adored, and some that were quite a bit more ho-hum. To my surprise, this one grabbed me from the beginning. I loved the author's voice -- she has a spectacular writing style -- and her heroine quickly drew me into her life. This is a story of one woman's journey through separate affairs with a famous flamenco dancer and his wife, who learns that all is not as it seems in this marriage bed. I know it sounds a little repulsive, but it doesn't play out that way. Another testament to the author's talent, I think. All in all, a great addition to my erotica collection.
I liked this book for the lovely romance and happy ending. While I was disappointed, based on the cover, the sex didn't involve more kink, it was still a very nice story. Alicia, a private tour guide in London is recovering from a short affair with Daniel. When she gets involved with Paco and Carlotta she's suddenly having the best sex and most adventurous time of her life. She's enjoying lesbian sex for the first time too. There's public sex, pool sex, sauna sex and just plain hot-and-heavy sex. But it's too complicated for her and she's having mixed feelings. But a happy conclusion awaits so, overall not a bad read.
I really enjoyed this. So many of the Black Lace novels are either too dark or two dependent on deviancy but this is just a wonderfully rich and glam a romp around our fair capital, full of culture and wit and intelligence, and all kinds of sex. It's an intriguing thriller of open marriages with hot, attractive people that will make you very hard or wet.
