Very entertaining! I guessed about a quarter of the answers. Not very realistic evidence, but still fun to see what’s wrong with the perp’s stories.

I did not like the book to be honest it was kinda childish and I wouldn't recommend it.
My favorite character is the robber and he doesn't have a name and he's my favorite character because he robs people. My favorite quote is I guess it doesn't really matter unless you describe yourself from page 11. My least favorite character is the cop because he is trying to stop the robber. The them is mystery and solving things to find the robber. I think it's interesting that this robber is robbing everyone from all around town.

Whodunnits can go wrong in quite a few ways, and this book was pretty disappointing.

I'm not sure the age group this is for -- while I'm sure it would be more challenging for younger kids, the book is so formulaic that once a child has solved the first one, I can't imagine the rest would be difficult at all. It's like an overly simplified version of Chekhov's gun -- if somebody mentions the office is soundproof in the first act, then you can be sure one of the "victims" will mention hearing a noise from the office in the third. These stories are so short that any information given early on is always, without a doubt, the key to the solution. There are no red herrings, nothing cleverly hidden, nothing that requires a second thought. I'm really not sure who this is supposed to challenge.

Great book for a brain break in the classroom or to use when subbing as a reward

A little too formulaic. I found that only a few of these mini-mysteries were even remotely challenging. It might have helped if there were a greater variety of suspects.
