Requiem For A Lawnmower: And Other Essays On Easy Gardening With Native Plants by Sally Wasowski, Andy Wasowski (Taylor Publishing 1992)(635.9). This appears to be one of the first books published which advocated the use of native plants in home landscaping. It's a good idea, but the concept is now dated. My rating: 7/10, finished 8/19/14.

I'm thinking about almost the entire front yard becoming native grasses and flowers (just like the other house).
