Martin Robinson explores renewed contemporary interest in Celtic Christianity. He draws lessons from the success of the Celtic church which brought a new message to pagan Britain centuries ago.
Actually I was pleasantly surprised at the depth of this book. He does contrasts: Celtic mission, Roman mission; the journey into the self, the journey toward community; bold Celtic initiation, Roman consolidation; rural, urban; mission emphasis, educational emphasis. Actually the depth and the terminology that goes with it is probably challenging, even intimidating to many. But the book certainly held my interest.
