There is some useful common sense in this book, but fundamentally it is in error. Even Bob Mumford in the foreword urges caution and discernment in reading it. Barney Coombes lists the qualities of an apostle as he sees them. But these are all really the qualities of a good pastor. He then gives the game away by inventing a category of ‘local apostles’ who remain in one church!
