Irene Bahrd is a feisty Capricorn and one of the most avid readers you will ever meet. Her favorite genres to read or write include romantic comedies, political romance, romantasy, and the occasional contemporary dark romance.

She started her writing journey as a dare from a friend, after recounting dating stories from her early twenties. They inspired her to write spicy romantic comedies and parodies that feature a variety of book boyfriends—though most are cinnamon roll golden retrievers. Many of her stories contain LGBTQIA+, disabled, and neurodivergent characters.

Oh my, so on point with all that's happening. Thrust trapping, and thirst trapping in a town Trapp! This novellet is such a fun read. Enter Kyle, Chad and Mark and their object of affection, Theresa!!
How they try to vy the affection of Theresa and all the trappings of thirst traps.
For an LOL time and a peak at how this goes on, pick up this book and enjoy the read.

This book was such a nice reprieve from some of the dark romances I’ve been reading. A short and hilarious ride. I also loved that she included Eliza Anne, laughed out loud when I got to that part. Irene’s done it again.

On a final note: if you’re not team Mark then you’re wrong.

Unique & Cheesy

So this is a super cheesy book as is explained at the beginning lol but it was fun and interesting too!

Trapp Temptations is a fast-paced novella and one of Irene Bahrd's satirical romances. This one pokes fun at thirst traps.

The book features three male characters: Kyle (boyfriend), Chad (BFF) and Mark (quirky delivery guy) all vie for Teresa's attention. They also are active online and post thirst traps. Teresa's isn't a fan of this online activity, and it impacts their relationships.

Loved the shout out to Eliza Ann and her fantastic book The Echoist.

I didn't love this one as much as the last round of satirical romances (Running from the Garden with Eden & Not My Bodyguard's Keeper) but it was still a cute read.

I just finished my read of Trapp Temptations Vol. 1 by Irene Bahrd. This story is a entangled love triangle following a firefighter, a pilot, a guy with a big package and the woman they all want. In this book you will either come to cheer for one guy as many have or chose none as I have. I'm hoping for a bit of a redemption in Vol. 2. If you are a fan of Irene you don't want to miss this one. She knows how to hook a reader from page one. I very highly recommend picking this one up.

Well... that happened...

This story is completely different from what I'm used to reading from Irene. There's not much romancing or səxƴ time, but what you can expect is a lot of double standards bụllśhıt coming from men that will have you screaming at your eReader/book. And then the guy that takes all his romancing advice from book boyfriends happens, and the future looks bright and happy... until... 😬

I really hope we get T's pov on the next book because I am DƳIŊG to know what she thinks and feels about everything.

This is a spicy light-hearted novella. Novella...meaning VERY super fast pasted and a quick read. I read it in just under an hour. Teresa has the attention of three guys: Kyle (the boyfriend), Chad (the best friend) and Mark (the golden boy of the town). These men also love the attention they get from making thirst traps on the internet. Because of the speed and length I can't really give too much more than that. I love Irene's parady books. They are guarenteed to make you laugh. And the spice is perfection. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love Irene's satire books. This one was no different! They have the perfect amount of spice while also making me laugh or at least crack a smile. There are so many red flags in all 3 of these men, but also so relatable to the men in the real world. Kyle, Chad, and Mark were all characters I hated to love. I can't wait to see what part 2 holds for Theresa, and I'm hoping that Mandy makes another appearance. Super quick read that I devoured in less than an hour.

This is a witty spicy novella which I was honored to be an ARC reader for. This story follows 3 bad boys as they pursue the town’s good girl Theresa. Kyle is firefighter, Chad is a pilot, and Mark a delivery driver. I love that the story if from the guys POV only, and that they are all three online strippers which just adds to the hilarity of this story. Even though it’s a quick read, it is still filled with the humor and spice one comes to expect from an Irene Bahrd novel. I loved it, you won’t be disappointed.

I liked this satirical romance about a town where all the men are online strippers. A woman rejects two of them for their side hustles, only to end up with a third who puts their private time online, in true satire fashion. Think of it as The No-Show by Beth O'Leary with the roles reversed.

At only 50 pages, it can be read in one sitting.

I would give this book 6 stars if it would let me. It definitely gets bonus points for making me laugh out loud. Even though this story is short it has some twists and turns to keep you guessing and that cliffhanger at the end! Ugh, I need the next book NOW! It's definitely a great read and will suck you in immediately but it's super short so you won't feel bad for reading the whole thing in one sitting. #TeamChad

Hahahahaha! I’m convinced that anything Irene writes, I’m going to love. I’m not usually a dive head first into satire kinda girl but Trapp Temptations had me in absolute stitches. 3 men quenching women’s thirst with their trapping skills in a town called Trapp… I mean come on 😂👏🏻I loved this little baby novelette.

I also really enjoyed what felt like a little homage to my faves Emma and Dylan when Teresa ordered a gin and tonic with extra lime. My heart 🫶🏻

a fun read!

I had a blast reading this book. So many guys so many thirst traps and they all want Theresa. Sadly she goes from guy to guy just to be let down by their constant need to show their goods online. Until she decided to fake date a good guy and well things get a little real when they get recorded doing the deed! Wtg Mark! I can’t wait to see what happens when these two realize what happened and what they will do about it.

OMG why did this one have to be short and end! Such a fun fast paced read that makes you wanting more. Caution it is a spicy read!

This satire follows 3 guys and each of their chances at getting the girl, but will any of the 3 thirst trappers be able to lock her down?

Go and add to your TBR now. Just don’t hate me when it’s over to quickly and your left wanting more!

I read this book after finishing my novella Seventeen Minutes. As an author who writes dark matter, this book was a hilarious reprieve. There may or may not also be a mention of The Echoist that absolutely made me laugh out loud. Sorry to the tree for waking you up. Irene has quickly become one of my favorite authors and I look forward to the next one!

I absolutely loved all of Irene's books that I have read, and this one didn't disappoint. It was fast past and kept u invested from start to finish and so ready to read the next one. I got so invested in these characters and the place they live in Trapp. If u haven't read any of Irene's books, what u waiting for u definitely won't be disappointed.

This is a short Novella, so you need to read to find out which one Theresa chooses, if any.
You also need to read it to find out your favorite!

I read this book in about 2hrs and it was nothing but entertainment. It’s not only funny but it’s really spicy. When it’s all done at the end you still don’t know who ends up with who and it ends with a cliffhanger. If your looking for a quick read and laughing and spice this is your book..

Gotta say ... I never thought I will be reading satire romance let alone enjoy it but wow. I had so much fun reading this one! Love how she poked at the bias standards or man posting thirst traps vs when women doing it. And the lovely cliffy at the end. Can't wait for book 2!

This is a spicy, funny, light-hearted novella.

I absolutely devoured this book in less than 30 mins, I love It, it made me laugh. It was a great pallet cleanser from what I've been reading. And I love how Irene added in author Eliza anne book echoist into ( p.s that's such a fucking awsome book ). I can't wait to read the rest of the books author Irene brings out.

Teresa has the attention of three guys:

We have Kyle- who's the boyfriend, a firefighter and he does thirst traps.

We have Chad- who's the best friend, a pilot, her business partner, does thirst traps and is secretly in love with her.

And then we have Mark- who's the golden boy of the town- delivers a big package, wants a fake girlfriend to get town folk off his back, and also does thirst traps.

These men love the attention they get from making thirst traps on the internet. She hates it. Some drama happens, which makes you laugh, the spice is perfect. I highly recommend reading these novella's by Irene.

Well this book !!! Where do I start it’s a quick read with the boys telling their side of things and how they are trying to get the girl but all doing thirst traps cause who are we kidding we all love a good thirst trap !!!

Will the good guy win, will the best friend get his dream girl ? Who will win the girl and get her attention!

Good cute quick read and leads you right into the second book !!
