I really love the world Pat Shand and co created in Destiny, NY. This book is a spinoff of one of the characters from that book, but I don't think you necessarily need to have read them to enjoy it.

Bailey wasn't my favorite character in Destiny, NY but this book made me appreciate her more. Pat does a really good job of making compelling characters that are relatable and flawed.

As long as they keep putting out stuff of this quality I'll keep backing the kickstarters and reading them.
