Intéressant mais pas parfait. Le fait qu'ils ne s'entendent pas. Constamment en désaccord, c'est chiant à un moment.

J'ai toujours su que mon père était un homme méchant.
Mais voir mon meilleur ami se faire tuer juste devant moi a été un moment déterminant.
Cela m'a fait voir le monstre qu'il est vraiment.
Je suis prêt à laisser la vie mafieuse derrière moi pour toujours,
même si cela implique de travailler avec le FBI pour arrêter mon propre père.

Le problème est que l'agent Tyson Wilson veut que les choses soient faites à sa manière…
Et il a décidé que devenir mon garde du corps était la seule voie à suivre.
Dommage qu'il n'ait pas pris en compte l'attirance interdite qui brûlait lentement entre nous.
Il est peut-être plus âgé, colérique et dominant comme l'enfer,

«Je m'appelle l'agent Tyson Wilson. Je travaille avec l'unité du crime organisé du Federal Bureau of Investigation.

"Aria Russo, tu as été amenée ici après avoir été surprise en train de courir en plein milieu de la ville."

"Si j'avais fait une telle chose, et ce n'est pas un aveu de culpabilité car je n'ai aucune connaissance de ce dont vous parlez, je gagnais la course."

Le sourire narquois de Tyson s'amenuise alors qu'il m'étudie, ses yeux se plissant. Un sourire facile apparaît à nouveau sur son visage alors qu'il hausse les épaules.

Son costume est d'un gris foncé qui fait ressortir les quelques mèches de cheveux gris qui commencent à apparaître dans sa barbe bien coiffée. Des yeux marrons et chauds me regardent, captant chaque mouvement que je fais comme il a été entraîné pour le faire.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat! It was impossible to stop reading until I had finished the last page. Mafia princess Aria is a fearless, take-no-prisoners and intimidating heroine. She has been trained to kill, to manipulate and to persuade her father’s cronies, adversaries and potential business associates. The FBI thinks it will be easy to manipulate her into giving information about her father and family in return for her own immunity and freedom. Yet, Aria knows the game they are playing, her legal rights and just what the FBI can and can’t do. She is most definitely not a pushover, as FBI agent Tyson soon discovers. She is not above using her body and sex to turn the tides and get what she wants. When her father does an heinous act in front of her in order to punish her and get her back in line, he ends up spurring Aria to agreeing to work with the FBI.

Tyson is determined to take Ari’s father and family down and at first thinks that Aria will be easy to control. Wrong! She fights him at every turn, manages to take him off guard and elude him often, and her curvy body keeps his body in a constant state of arousal. Keeping her safe proves to be a nightmare, but taking her to bed never seems to quench his desire for her. Their story is super steamy, rather twisty and includes lots of danger and suspense. Simply unputdownable!.

This book was an enjoyable fast burn romance. Aria, a mafia princess and Tyson, an FBI agent meets in an interview room where he offers her deal to become an informant and take down her father and his criminal empire. Aria who is more savvy and ruthless that Tyson and his superior expected pushes his buttons and declines. After that Tyson follows her to a nightclub to keep an eye on her and due to his jealously he throws caution to the wind and they spend the night together. After that Aria’s father reprimands her for getting involved with an FBI Agent she starts to consider taking the deal. After her father gets rid of her best friend in a violent way for becoming an informant and beats her it leads her call Tyson.

After that things got a little wonky. The plan to get Tyson on to her protection detail felt a little flimsy and unrealistic. Tyson’s inner monologue where he reminds himself that Aria is the enemy and he wants her but he can’t have her because she a mafia princess got repetitive and tiring. At times Tyson seemed like he was the same age as Aria and not 13 years older.

Overall the story was easy to read and I enjoyed it.

Wow, thtis was one book that you cannot, the story was captivating and the characters were really sensational. This book was about Aria and Tyson, Tyson is a FBI Agent that is trying to bring Aria and her family especially her father. Aria was out racing cars when she was done by a Detective, he took her to the police station and tried to make a deal he gave her his card she had a quick look and then threw it. Then the next night she went out clubbing he followed her, while she was dancing he was watching they seem to be drawn to each other so he started dancing with her and before they knew it they ended up at his place they got hot and steamy, then in the morning she went home to get a black eye, and a split lip and watched something horrific. There was action, danger, betrayal, lies, secrets, anger, fear, pain, courage,strength, intense passion, sizzling pleasures but that come with an accident.

I just want to start off by saying I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I love mafia books and this one was no different although in this book it’s where the beautiful 21 year old mafia daughter falls for the older FBI agent Tyson. It took me on a ride that I was not prepared for.

I loved reading this book and couldn’t get enough of it! I liked that the father trained his daughter to be in the mafia and all the tactics that he would use and then she use them to her advantage. I loved that was different and she fell for the FBI agent and not someone else who was in the mafia.

I loved that she had 4 other brothers that even though they didn’t like what she was doing they would still help her and watch over her. Her oldest brother absolutely melted my heart and the way that he always looked out for her even if the other brothers didn’t like it.

Definitely will suggest this book to all my mafia book lovers!.

Off Limits Protector is the first book I’ve read from Kira Cole. It was an enjoyable fast burn.

FBI Agent Tyson meets Mafia Princess Aria in an interview room and offers her a deal, where she pushes his buttons and declines. Tyson’s superior tells him to keep an eye on her, so he follows her to a nightclub. Despite himself, Tyson sees red when she dances with other men. He can’t put in a pin in his jealousy, so he decides to live in the moment and takes her home, barring all consequence.

When Aria decides to take the FBI deal a few days later, they concoct a plan to keep Tyson as close to Aria as possible. It didn’t seem realistic. As big and bad as Antonio is made to be, he seemed to give in easily. Regardless, knowing he will be in close proximity to Aria, Tyson steels his resolve against her. He does his best (which is shameful) to stay away since he’s her handler.

Tyler’s inner monologue reminding himself that Aria is the enemy, but he wants her and can’t have her because her dad is a mafia crime boss… made me want to lose my ever-loving mind. It got tiring. The way Tyson handles a certain situation in which he puts himself also made me not like him. I thought he was an overgrown man child.

There were some things I didn’t particularly like, but that’s okay. For instance, I didn’t feel the chemistry between Tyson and Aria. I also couldn’t figure how much time passed. There didn’t seem to be an adequate concept of time. I enjoyed the story overall because it was an easy read.

“I can see forever unfolding in front of me.”

It’s not often I read a mafia romance where the fmc is the mafia criminal and the MMC is in the FBI so I can say this is different. Aria is really tough and doesn’t pretend to not be a real criminal. She even admits to having killed people. I liked that she was unapologetically strong. Tyson was in many ways harder to like. He was so wishy-washy at times it became annoying. The fact that the story kept changing didn’t help. It was really hard to believe some of what happened and I found the end to be a little anticlimactic and vague. The writing isn’t bad but was too focused on actions and lacked much real emotion. It’s not really a four star book but three stars seemed too low. Since this is the author’s first book I opted to round up and hope her writing improves. There should be plenty of opportunities as Aria has four brothers just waiting for their own books to be written.

Ideally liked the beginning of the book and was excited to see how things played out but the development of the story just fizzled for me. The idea they had to try to pull one over her dad by getting the FBI agent he knew about to be her body guard was dumb. And honestly, for a ruthless mafia guy her father seemed to talk a lot but not take a lot of action. Usually it’s shoot first, but he just keeps basically giving them a heads up when he realizes someone isn’t being honest. The whole going on the run thing was rushed and impractical. And honestly, after he finds out Aria is pregnant but still talks like she might have to go to jail but he should be ok totally ruined the relationship aspect to this story. He was a douche and for a kick ass mafia daughter she let him talk down to her and lie repeatedly, then try to turn it around like it was her fault. The ending wrapped up way too fast with terrible ending. Not even interested in ready any other books in this series.

The title is a little deceiving to what the story actually is but still pretty good.
These two are a nightmare, but in the best way. Aria is a typical 21 year old that thinks she knows everything and after being raised in the mob is absolutely fearless. Tyson is a hot as hell FBI agent doubling as her bodyguard. For being an FBI agent, he does a lot of stupid things. Aria makes things worse with her stubbornness.
There is an age gap there, but I think the maturity level is about the same.
Between the sheets though….🔥🔥🔥
In the end, everything works out well because Aria has an amazing older brother. I hope we read about him soon.

Aria is a mafia princess, but she wants out of the life. Tyson is a FBI agent and wants to bring her father down. When she gets caught drag racing she is taken in and Tyson shows up to talk to her. At first, she doesn't say anything because of how her family life is. However, after a night out with a friend where she hooks up with Tyson everything changes. Will she work with Tyson to get free of her family? Will more grow between them while they are together?

This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Aria Russo is a Mafia princess tired of living in a gilded cage run by a tyrant. When she is arrested, and her only chance at not going to jail is to work with the FBI to bring her father down, she gives it little thought. Tyler will be her handler, and undercover as her bodyguard. When things get real and start to go down, it will take them working together to stay alive.

This book was pretty good. Not as dark as some, but plenty of angst and intrigue. I vacillated between really disliking Aria and being amused by her. She's 21, and she's a lot. Their happily ever after was well done. Overall, I'd call this book worth the read.

Aria is a mafioso’s daughter desperate to escape the gilded cage her abusive father keeps her in. FBI agent Tyson offers her a way out. Soon the two are working together to outsmart both sides ~ and each other ~ to stay alive. Along the way, they start to fall for each other, but find it’s hard to plan for a future you might not see.

The book is filled with suspense and heart, although I do wish we had more of Tyson’s backstory so we could understand the motivation for some of his actions as well as his thought patterns.

The verdict: If you like romance paired with action, you’ll love this book.

I loved Off-Limits Protector Daddy. He’s law enforcement and she’s the daughter of a criminal. On paper these two don’t mesh but their chemistry is off the charts. She’s willing to take a chance on Tyson to possibly get away from her father. There’s danger, there’s love and there’s family drama. Tyson didn’t think Aria would be the woman of his dreams but that’s absolutely what she is. Now they just have to survive to get their future together. This was a great storyline and I loved the characters. I would love to read stories about the other characters. I would definitely recommend this book.

Aria is tough and fearless, but being a mafia princess is not all it is made out to be, and she decides she needs out, even if it means working with Tyson to do it. Tyson thought Aria would be easy to manipulate, but he finds out that she is anything but, and he appoints himself as her bodyguard.
This is a good story, which is action packed, with family, forbidden attraction, challenges, danger, suspense, intrigue, emotions, and is an enjoyable and steamy page turner.

Off-Limits Protector Daddy is an action-packed love story told from the dual point of view of the “undercover” FBI agent and the Mafia Boss’ daughter. The characters are complex and fascinating; the author tells us just enough about them to make us want to know more.

There are some great plot twists, and the story-line is engaging from start to finish. A quick and entertaining read! Hoping for more books about the main characters’ siblings, as they are each unique and intriguing!

This was a story full of emotions and feelings. We are taken into the lives of Tyson and Aria. Her father is a mean, nasty man and she wants to do everything she can to ensure that her father is punished after someone was killed in front of her. The only way to get there is to work with FBI agent Tyson. Their story contains, violence, action, danger, betrayal, pain, secrets and much more about the hot and steamy scenes between them we will not forget. This book is definitely a must read.

This was a twist on the standard Mafia story for sure which made it more of a page turner. I love a story with a snarky string as hell FMC and it is even better when she is part of the Mafia world.

Aria is a Mafia princess who was raised by a cruel controlling Mafia Don. She likes to have fun and party though and that’s what gets her into trouble.

Her trouble leads her to a hit a heck FBI agent and the story goes from there.

He’s an FBI agent and he meets the Mafia Princess in an interview room. He’s ordered to watch her, so he follows her to a nightclub. Aria & Tyson romance is definitely not your typical age gap romance. Aria wants out of her mafia family & she wants Tyson (FBI) to help her get out. Their situation is complicated. This book starts off with a Aria being arrested & then approached by Tyson (FBI) to provide information against her family. Tyson comes across as arrogant & Aria is a brat who pushes all his buttons, but the chemistry is there & things get complicated quickly. There were many hair raising moments (and steamy scenes).

I did not want this book to end. The writing is extraordinary, the characters are wonderful and the story itself is great.
I read this book straight through. There is so much happening you have to keep reading to see what transpires next.
You get your mafia gun fights, then there is betrayal, steamy scenes, family working together and love.
This book packs a punch when it comes to all the feels.

This was an interesting read although I will say the word “smirk” was overly used. Aria “Viper” Russo is not your typical mafia princess, her dad taught her how to defend herself and blend in as to not get noticed. Tyson Wilson is a tatted up FBI agent that doesn’t know what he wants. The story could’ve been better and had so much potential, the heroine less annoying and the hero more decisive.

This is my first read by this author, and I must say that I quite enjoyed the storyline and characters. It is an age gap romance between mafia princess Aria and FBI agent Tyson. These flawed but likeable souls and the unique plot make for an intriguing read. It is a love story with drama and steam, danger and suspense, humor and charm, sexual tension and chemistry. An engaging page turner.

I enjoyed reading this book. The storyline was good. The FMC is a strong, stubborn and fun girl. What I didn’t like was that the characters jumped eachothers bones too fast for my liking. They should have waited a few chapters for building the tension and then the MMC says «fuck it» and they.. jump eachothers bones😂.

I have got to say I really enjoyed this book buttttttt I only gave it a 4 star instead of five because the way Tyson kept lying to her just icked me like Ik that was apart of the drama but I am a person who hates lying. I liked both Tyson and aria and especially enjoyed the epilogue.

fast pace but enjoyable

I loved the story of Aria and Tyson! However, the plot moved extremely fast. It’s a great quick read if you are looking for something short, sweet, and to the point.
