Book was ok , sometimes the pace lagged other times it sped past was too fast. My biggest complaint was that his harem members just randomly took decisions which were against the group's or safety's concern and then they never talk about cause it somehow works out. The MC gets mad but then just forgets about it. The girls also just join up without any slow and gradual buildup ( which made sense for the 1st two)
