He Found You Lost, ...and Guided You

Rate this book
We have many hopes and dreams in life, and as Muslims, we’re taught that after putting in the work and the effort, we must put our trust in Allah SWT for the outcome. We are required to ‘release’ that control to Allah SWT.

But when the result we hope for isn’t the one we received, we become devastated. When setbacks and challenges make us feel like we’ll never be able to achieve our dreams, we feel as though we’re being abandoned by God.

“Is He purposely not giving me what I prayed for?”
“Am I not good enough that He doesn’t answer my prayers?”

***

In this book, author Ayesha Syahira invites readers to go on a journey of connecting the lost hearts with Allah — by nurturing trust in Him when we think He has abandoned us, which He never had. It calls for us to seek a balance between taking action and relying on Allah’s will, and ultimately trusting His plans.

By letting go and having full trust in Allah, only then can we finally taste the sweetness of surrendering to Allah, our Creator, the One who only wants the best for us.

He Found You Lost … and Guided You
By : Ayesha Syahira

‘’Tawakkul is a call for you to place your trust in Allah SWT and to rely on Him for guidance and support. This belief hinges on the fact that ultimately, everything is in Allah SWT’s control and we humans have limited control over our lives.’’

Tawakkul is the main objective that Ayesha Syahira want to convey to us (readers) through the sharing of her journey in progress to become a better person that has been highlighted in the Al-Quran and As-Sunnah.

The way she deliver the important concept of tawakkul as a muslim through her experiences and through the events of her life make the me feel so close to her and better understanding in the true definition of tawakkul.

Different people, different challenges and struggles. Maybe some of the readers including myself does not going though the same struggles as she does, but the guidelines, ways, and advice she gave in this book can be related.
There are too many quotes in this book that I love and makes me feel soft.

This book is a must read book to a person who feel lost, empty inside and need some guidelines to be back on track but don’t know how. If you are not in this circumstances or situations but just need some resurrections, and spiritual filling through a reading, than this book is well recommendation for you.

I fell in love with her other book titled 'Talk to Allah' and ever since then, I'm always excited for every book by the author. Though this one was quite hard to read through, it might be that my expectations for it were high due to how much I lovvveee the other books of hers. I was planning on giving a 3 but the book came at the right time cus i was having a problem with "waiting" too = having tawakkal in my future plans. So, if I wasn't actually having something relatable to the theme 'tawakkal' I might not have been able to connect myself with the writings. Overall, still would love to read more future books by the author!

Wow I really live up to the Ramadhan Reads name huh started last year during Ramadhan and finished it yesterday 😂

At first I thought this book would be too much for me to process but the author used storytelling to deliver her message and that made me easily flipped through the pages. Although there’s no structure in the plot, I get her point according to the subtopics enough.

To sum it up, it was about tawakkul, husnuzon billah and in ust mizi’s famous words; to let go and let God. It’s a lifelong process really there’s no shortcut to it, we just have to keep on learning and applying.

This book is all about Tawakkal.

I think this book is too personal that i can not relate. But somehow, i am grateful that i can not relate.

It is a great reminder for me, though.

I recommend this book for those who are still struggling and lost.

Six of one, half a dozen of the other.

Repetitive content from previous books. It seems this book was published in a rush. Not a fond of new font. Hopefully the author delve deeper into another topic. I'm sorry, I'm disappointed.

A humble written book that invite us to re-explore the meaning of surrendering to Allah and redefining tawakkul through author's experience in order to achieve the best faith and full trust in Allaah.

Although everyone has different problems, it still feel relatable and full of positive affirmations. In whatever challenges we may face, we must always remember that Allaah's love and mercy are limitless to guide us through even the darkest times.

Allah did not create us without a purpose. We both understand that the purpose of our lives is to worship Allah, and we must remember that the 'ability to perform worship' itself is solely a gift from Allah. When we have trust in Allaah, we shouldn't adopt a passive approach and refrain from taking any action. Rather, we should strive to put in our best efforts in every aspect of our life.

While it is easy to say, genuinely practicing tawakkul goes beyond relying on Him, and it is not as easy as it may sound. There were still moments when we needed to remind ourselves about it and pinch ourselves to reinforce our belief and continue improving our level of faith (iman).

Well recommendations for you who are in the circumstances of emptiness and feel lost.
