It's the day of the big costume party -- what is Pinkie Pie going to wear? She dresses up as a beautiful unicorn, but when she gets to the party everything goes wrong! Pinkie Pie's outfit is ruined. Where will Pinkie Pie's friends find another costume that is just right for her?
This was an impulse purchase that I picked up in the check-out line at a thrift store. It's not exactly high quality literature, but it sure is nostalgic, and once I saw Minty in an alien costume, I knew my seventy-five cents were spent.
All of the ponies were having a costume party together and everyone had the best outfits, except for one. She did not like any suggestions or any costumes she had. It took a while until she found one but when she did, it was perfect. It was a blue sparkly cape and she wore it with unicorn horn. She was a sparkly unicorn. They all went to the party and the dance part, her sparkly cape ripped. She was so embarrassed that she kept looking at it and eventually walked into the punch bowl and it spilled on her. She cried and was very upset but then her friends gave her parts of their costumes which made her into a butterfly! The illustrations were bright and inviting. This could be a story for girl who are just creating their group of friends and who need some boosts on their own self-esteem
(I've tagged this as Halloween but it's only because the ponies dress up in costumes for a party. So can be read anytime of year)
The ponies are having a costume party at the castle! Everyone is dressing up. But one pony can't figure out how to dress up. In the end her friends prove once again how good of friends they are and they share various parts of their own costumes for her to have one.
Filled with an annoying font that makes for difficult reading aloud, lifeless art and a little nothing of a story, My Little Pony: Pony Party is something I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
