So Lost is book 6 in the Faith Bold series by Blake Pierce. FBI Special Agent Faith Bold and her partner, Special Agent Michael Prince, caught a new case about a murderer who is burning victims alive in graveyards. It became a race to find the killer. However, Faith was also experiencing issues in her personal life and with her relationship with her partner, which would affect her ability to find the killer. The readers of So Lost will continue to follow FBI Special Agent Faith Bold and her partner, Special Agent Michael Prince, to discover what happens.
I do enjoy the way Blake Pierce incorporates twists and turns in his plots. I also appreciate that he emphasises the importance of dogs in helping people recover from trauma. Blake Pierce also got me thinking about how grief affects those who suffer from it and how they cope with it. I engage with the story and the characters from the first page and continue to the end.
I love Blake Pierce's portrayal of his characters and the way they interact with each other throughout the book. So Lost is well-written and researched by Blake Pierce. I like Blake Pierce's description of the settings in So Lost, which complemented the book's plot.
The story is a solid 3.5-4.5 star book. This is true for the entire series.
But it gets an automatic one start for using an AI audio narrator instead of getting an actual narrator to save money or whatever. There are tons and tons of narrators out there who are just starting, good and don’t need a paycheck for their work. Many work off audiobook sales or even credits (I know from experience with said narrators.)
AI “art” is lazy and a theft of real people creating art.
So Lost (Faith Bold #6) was a thrilling read! Capturing my interest from page 1 and never losing it! This story was filled with intensity and mystery. Interesting perp's and victims, plenty of twists and an ending, as always, leaving you begging for more. Wow!
Faith and her K9 have the grizzly's finding of the killer burying his victims alive. Faith and her dog Turk.both have demons from their past, together they are a match, determinded to outwit the killer and stop him. They were a good match in this series and I enjoyed how they worked together. Given arc for my voluntary review
Another good book in this series. The plot is complex and moves at a rapid pace. This book was hard to put down and I finished it on one sitting. Even after 6 books, the story seems fresh and more details of the characters personalities become apparent and how their relationships impact the readability of the story.
