Mia Bishop lives in the high desert of Southwestern Colorado in an area steeped in myths and superstitions. She spends her days with her husband and two children, along with their four rescue cats. When she’s not writing, Mia can be found in the mountains hiking or camping, at the local library reading a book, or binging a new show or anime.

This was a fun story that takes Adam and Ella and matches them up at a Speed Dating event ;) I really liked them as characters but they sure had some things to sort out - mostly that Ella had a mysterious illness. Thankfully, Adam wanted to help her out with that pesky problem... Of course, their story is entertaining and I loved how sweet and steamy their romance was. All great fun and a fab addition to the series :D

This is part of the Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld each book can be read as a standalone with its very own sexy underworld and the women who captures their heart without even trying. Adam sexy as all get out king (so to speak) of the underworld overall nice guy who has lived centuries have seen a lot, done a lot, accomplished a lot but never finding his one true fated mate until one evening filling in an empty chair at the speed dating café sitting across from the most beautiful women. Ella intelligent, orphaned as a baby left on a doorstep with a necklace to connect her to her path, growing up afraid of everything pretty much but more afraid of just being herself, she has always felt out of place compared to others so when she started having weird things happen to her like skin with black spots hard to the touch, learning she has only two weeks to live has her doing and trying everything on her bucket list or attempting to before dying speed dating being one on her bucket list. The moment Adad sits down both of their words shift changing their paths because he knows she is his mate but with all that is going on in her body and her fighting it every step of the way but she also able to see the true self of each of his friends as well as him which has never happened in their world. After her getting sick, fainting, unable to move a few times has him finding out what is really going on with her and then helping her because he can’t/won’t lose his mate but will they figure it out in time considering she only has only one day to left, will she accept his help, will she live or will his mate be lost to him, and where are they headed happiness or sadness is the main question?.

When Adam sees Ella he is struck by a desire that he has not experienced in a long time, could this be his mate? What she didn't bank on was falling in love. She confides in Adam that she is dying and he decides that he will help her with her bucket list. But suddenly Ella is deteriorating quicker than she thought she would and only has two weeks. After one of her episodes, Adam is telling her a story as she goes to sleep thinking she is sleeping he reveals something about himself that no-one else knows. In desperation to save Ella, Adam seeks help from Osiris who discovers what the actual problem Ella has. But will Adam be able to persuade her what she is and what she has to do in time to save her? A great love story with a lover determined to save his mate.

This is the 16th book in the “Speed Dating With The Denizens Of The Underworld Series”. This is a fast paced, easy quick read that is entertaining, page turner, romantic, steamy, great characters with an awesome plot that kept me enthralled from the cover to the last page. Adam is super sexy alpha dragon shifter. Ella was orphaned at an early age. After Ella has seen her doctor she is diagnosed with a mysterious illness and has been given 3 months to live. Ella has a bucket list and on that list is speed dating so she signs ups. Adam is at the speed dating event where he meets Ella and his dragon is drawn to her, they wanted her. When Adams learns of Ella’s of illness he vows to help her as she is his fated mate and he can’t lose her.

I really enjoyed reading about Adam and Ella as the two embark on a journey to keep Ella alive.

What is the mysterious illness that Ella has, will Adam be able to save his fated mated, is there an HEA in store for Ella an Adam?

Adam is a dragon shifter and the first man ever. His exes include Lilith and Eve. He hoes to a speed dating event and meets Ella. Ella is dying from unknown disease, so she out to do her bucket lis. Adam decides to help her. He know she's his mate and he wants her to have all she can while she's still here. He gets some of his friends to help with Ella's condition and is Osiris that knows what truly killing Ella. Adam is able to convince Ella that there's away to save her and live as mates forever.
Love the story. Adam is a protective caring male that will do anything for his mate and Ella is a kind sole that tries to be upbeat with her pending death. There's plenty of drama and mystery to keep you reading to fund out what's going to happen next.

Adam, an ancient black dragon, stopped by the cafe to grab a cup of coffee, only to get roped into the speed dating event since they were one guy short.

Ella found that she only had a few weeks to live, wanting to go in solitude and joined the speed dating to cross it off her bucket list.

Adam is able to read people, when he sits down with Ella, there is something that makes him want to help her. To his surprise, Ella is able to see the real Adam as well as his companions the way they are without the glamour, and the truth of what Ella is. Now can Adam convince Ella, or will he lose his mate?.

Wonderful story about Adam a dragon shifter and Ella. Adam meets Ella during the speed dating event when he was asked to fill in. Ella's been diagnosed with an unknown disease that the doctors give her three months to live. Speed dating is on her bucket list, and she meets Adam who promises to help her to do her list. Adam and his dragon are attracted to Ella, but can they find out what's happening to her and save her? Love the story, it was engaging to read with very likable characters and a great story among this series I've been loving to read. Absolutely loved this!! One of my favourite books ever! Adam was asked to help out at the DeLux Cafe’s human speed dating event. The first woman he met was Ella. He felt an instant connection to her. She was his! Ella was trying to complete her bucket list which is why she was there, she had very little time left. Adam wasn’t letting her go and was determined to find a way for them to be together. Sweet, steamy, completely enthralling from beginning to end! The chemistry was amazing and the HEA wonderful.

Another good addition to a quirky series. It always seems a little irreverent to read about gods, godesses and heroes of mythology attending speed dating in a bar. I wasn't overly looking forward to Adam's book, he was one of the characters that intrigued me the least. However, I was not disappointed by his story. He turns out to be much different to my expectations, and I loved this portrayal of him. Ella could have been a fantastic character, but I felt that she lacked a little depth, not that this tampered by enjoyment of the book.

This is one of my new favorite quick reads! There are so many amazing characters. The plot is FANTASTIC with a mysterious, intriguing illness and a HEA that had my tear ducts working.

Not only is this Adam & Ella's story but Cain, his wife and Abel make a small appearance. We also get a demon, 2 goddesses, Orisis and 2 dragons.

Any book with dragons is a plus for me. In all honesty, I've only read about half of the speed dating series but this is my FAVORITE. I truly enjoyed it and had it read in about 1 1/2 hours.

This story is so good! I love Adam and Ella. Adam is the father of man and a dragon shifter. This is his and Ella's story. Adam meets meets Ella at the human speed dating and when he learns she is living her bucket list he wants to help. This is such a great read, I could not stop reading once I started. All the denizens of the underworld are fascinating and this one is no different. Except there is more to Ella than even Adam knows. Love this story and Adam and Ella are perfect together!.

After reading this book I had to take a little time to compose myself and get my thoughts clear in my head before I put them in a review.
Wow this book was amazingly written. Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. This book has twists and turns you don’t know what’s happening. will they all get there happily ever after or will it all go wrong. To find out what happens go buy the book. You won’t be disappointed I wasn’t.

I loved reading about Adam in some of the previous stories of this series so I definitely grabbed this when I could. Adam was a protector and wanted to take care of Ella, his mate. She was dying from an unknown illness and was working on a bucket list. She attended a speed dating as part of that where she met Adam. This story was a little emotional but had wonderful characters and an interesting story line.

This is Book 16 of Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld story Adam and Ella. I loved this book but getting there was a wild ride. I so wanted to tell Ella stop fighting and listen to that inner voice. I loved this book and am glad these two get a happily every after together. I can not wait to read the next book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this speed dating story, I have enjoyed the previous stories in this series, too. I find it really amusing to have mythical beings going to a speed dating event, and finding the love of their life. Adam’s character amused me talking about his ‘exes’ but it was a great twist at the end, for Ella. I just felt her backstory was a little lacking. But I did enjoy reading this story.

I have really enjoyed reading this series. Adam gets talked into attending speed dating at Delux Cafe and meets Ella. From there the story takes off! The chemistry between Adam and Ella is so good and written so well, you can't help but get wrapped up into the story. I love the characters and how well each story has been written.

Ella is unsure what is wrong but she knows she's dying. So she has set out to fulfill her bucket list so to speak. But meeting Adam was not in the plans. He and his friends/  coworkers are different. Ella can periodically see them in their true forms. Fear is not an issue but anger at her confusion continues. Why was this wonderful man placed before her just as she will die. Adam knows Ella is his mate and wants to figure out what is killing her.

Really enjoyed the story of Adam meeting his mate at the Speed Dating with the Denizens of the Underworld. Ella is at this event as one of her bucket list before she dies. I love how hard Adam fights for Ella looking for a cure. Will he help her in time before she dies? This was a really amazing story and I really enjoyed it.

These two sit across from each other and Adam’s dragon knows she’s his mate but doctors told her she has a few weeks to live. Another good addition to the series. Adam and Ella are perfect together. I enjoyed their journey. Ella has a mysterious illness and does not have much time, but Adam wants to get to know her. This was an engaging quick read with fun characters. You have to read it to see how they find happiness. The dragon part definitely drew me in. I highly recommend you read Adam and Ella’s story. The story of Adam is as old as time. However this is a fantastic spin on it. Adam is just your average kind gentleman who goes out of his way to be kind. Ella is fighting the clock. Adam swoops in to be Ella’s champion but there’s more than meets the eye going on here. Such a fantastic, quick read!!.
