This book disappointed me. I think it could have been a lot more powerful if the author had written more about his own subjective experiences. As it is, it seems like most of it is an attempt to espouse the correct ideology without actually engaging in a deep and powerful reimagining of the world. For example, the author makes a lot of comments about how anti-sexist men need to support gay liberation, but is frequently very heterocentric as much of the book centers around the dynamics between men and women in romantic relationships. Also, the book feels very dated.
