A year ago, I was just a college grad trying to make enough money to live. Then I inherited a trailer, a small plot of land, and a whole underground world hidden in my backyard. Now, I’m a hero of the Gloom, with more titles than I know what to do with, and on the surface world, I own half the cul-de-sac and am in the process of starting a business. And I’m about to become a father. Almost everything is perfect, but minions of the Deeper Dark keep crawling up through the cracks and into the Gloom, and it’s my job to hold back the tide. No pressure.
Book 11 grabs you and doesn't let you go. Fun action, adventure with just the right amount of spice tossed in. Eddie is working to clear the Gloom of the Demon Kings minions, while his wife delivers his son, and his lawyer is in trouble. What will happen in book 12?
First and foremost, I want to state that I am not an author. I have no idea what it takes to write a book. I am a consumer with an OPINION, and only an opinion, based on my life experiences.
Furthermore, this is mostly written for... myself!
Backyard Dungeon (Book 11) by Logan Jacobs
"Backyard Dungeon 11" continues the intriguing journey of Eddie Hill, who discovers a hidden dungeon in his inherited property. This installment maintains the series' charm with its mix of humor and fantasy, as Eddie navigates life with his growing harem of fantastical women. The interactions are both humorous and endearing, providing a light-hearted escape into a world filled with adventure and loot. While the series doesn't offer profound depth, it excels in delivering an entertaining narrative that keeps readers engaged. The world-building is detailed enough to spark curiosity about what lies ahead in Eddie's adventures.

And when it's the newest installment of Eddie Hill and his wives adventures in the subterranean realm of The Gloom, it's even better and more exciting!
With thrilling adventures, exciting battles and exploration of realms and caverns that none has set foot in for centuries, it's always something new!
Logan Jacobs continues to impress with Eddie Hill and his ever-growing group of family and friends. Eddie continues to protect not just the Gloom from the plots of the demon lord but is also working to keep his friends topside safe. A rare person, Eddie tries to help anyone he considers a friend, and with the help of a half demon as well as a "shady entrepreneur" well, anything is possible.
Who .knew how much trouble being a man with two worlds to tame .wpuld caose .Weather it's crooked business.men or demon lords trying to grab off the whole underworld there never seems to be enough time to just sit back and enjoy the simple things in life. The latest book in the series is full of high adventure and low life vreeps! Give the series a look, it's worth it!
I love the way this story shifts from above and below ground with it's troubles. I think the new guy at Owen's is going to be trouble. But I think Eddie has it all under control, sum what. With new members in the family and the new friends in The Gloom, life is about to get more interesting. Good writing and good stories, keep it up.
It was fabulous to read an put myself the characters shoe
It was dark gritty but also loved the tender moments between characters . not to mention its brilliant and colorful surroundings make me wanting to their. I greatly enjoyed the this book and I highly recommend it for reading
now that Eddie's kid is born, this storyline is getting a little too realism. if you will for a fantasy story makes me think of how he's going to figure out how his kid is going to school with different color skin than the rest of the planet
which is not what you want in a fantasy story it's pulling me out of the fantasy and making me think of the reality
Eddie never seems to be out of things to solve. I really like reading the adventures of Eddie and his crew. Hints have been dropped about a new intrest. Can't wait for #12.
This guy is a partner in a gun shop. Why does his gun not have a suppressor? This isn't a difficult thing to get. Is it the laws or something? Is he trying to make the gloom go deaf? Get this man some gear.
I have read all eleven books in this series and have thoroughly enjoyed each and every one. I recommend this series to all open-minded readers who like a good yarn.
I love reading this fantasy series of adventures it reminds me of my youth, and watching old time shows before computers where they got out to explore and create adventures
I have enjoyed all eleven books. A great series and a wonderful group of characters. I think the world is growing nicely, and is fun to explore. Thanks For the new area.I hope you will spend more time with it later.keep up the great work.
The hits keep on coming! Well there's a lot of fast-paced parts in the story, there is also character development and some good sweet slow-paced parts. I look forward to the next book eagerly!
This series is great! I love the varieties of the wives and Eddie's ability to make friends with anyone. The different cultures shows the writers imagination.
Another great sequel to Backyard Dungeon. I like how the book evolves both in the gloom and back at home. Really looking forward to book 12 in the series.
