⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️½ I will discover every ticklish spot on her body, figure out how her wacky mind works, read all her books, learn how to cook her favorite foods, explore her favorite positions and fantasies, understand what makes her laugh, and what brings her comfort.
I just adore Jade and her men! This book is another excellent blend of humor and suspense. I was drawn in and engaged throughout, finding it hard to put the book down to do adult duties.
I loved the pacing and character development in Jade’s second book - we dive further into her males' backstories and fall even more in love with them. They show their vulnerable sides, and Jade is there to show them that she loves them just as they are (acceptance is a huge theme here). The stalwart hold-out remains, but the other males are all in for our sassy romance writer.
Book two is a faster burn than the first book. There are multiple MF and MFM scenes between Jade and her males in human and monster form (my favorite!). This book also includes MM, as seen in spicy flashbacks between two of the MMCs.
This book ends at a pretty significant cliffhanger. I cannot wait for the next book to be released!

It's still intriguing. Some of the mysteries are revealed and new questions are created. I honestly can't believe this is a trilogy, there doesnt fell like it would be long enough. We see the new magical world through Jade's eyes and new connections are made between the pack. Lots of sexy times. It's a nice change to have the men do TSTL instead of the female main character. I love that she seems to embrace the intimacy easily, no shy wallflower here.
It's the emtional relationships that sometimes feel shallow and underdeveloped. I'm unsure if this is because Jade is still holding back from embracing that they could want her. She is very insecure due to past abuse. It could also be a writing choice, as between the suspense and number of main characters, the book isn't long enough to explore the relationships with depth. I'll need to wait until the last book to find out.

Werewolf, gargoyle, phoenix, demon and incubus…. Oh My!!!! Charming Her Monsters picks up right where Bewitching Her Monsters leaves off. I adored Jade and her guys in the first book and the same goes with the second installment. Charming Her Monsters is filled with Action, mystery, a great plot and good s3xy scenes. That cliffhanger has me wanting to drive right into the next book! Definitely a good read!
Quotes: “But you won’t be innocent in any way, shape, or form after I get some time alone with you.”
“Today’s pleasure is brought to you by the words: demon dick.”
Oh my lord! This series is just getting better and better! Jade is amazing. I live that an author is the fmc of this book. She is slowly getting her life together and they are figuring things out, then things go crazy and fighting ensues again. Oh the ending.. I can't wait for the next one The men are slowly growing more fond of jade, osen is understandably upset at what he finds but is understanding that maybe jade isn't behind everything bad in the world. I just love these characters
It feels like forever since Yve released the first book in the Bewitching Her Monsters series and I have been dying for the second book, Charming Her Monsters did not disappoint. It was darker, steamier, and more monstrous and it still had humour. It was like all the things wrapped up in one.
I don't know if I realized it in the first book or if it's more noticeable in this but Jade has a self-worth issue. She downplays a lot of what she can do, makes herself smaller because that's what she had to do with the crappy people in her life. The guys (especially Maxum) are trying to break her out of that bad habit. Jade is smart (her mind works in weird and mysterious ways), compassionate, and kind. Jade has a big heart and she deserves to be cared for in return. For someone who doesn't human very well, she's good with Monsters. She gives the guys good advice hopefully she take some of her own soon.
Truth be told all of the guys except for Maxum are a bit of a hot mess but thanks to Jade they start to heal. Maxum is truly connecting with someone, Arran is learning self-acceptance, Flint has become more open and Calder has some growth. I'm not going to lie, Calder worked my last nerve, for 95% of this book I wanted to choke him. His nasty barbs towards Jade aggravated me but at the end, he finally pulled his head out of his butt. I like the guys but just when they are starting to trust Jade something happens and they question their trust in her. Like seriously, Jade really is the one who should be side-eyeing the entire group but amazingly she just rolls with it which I like. I've read a lot of MFCs that claim to love the supernatural but when it's presented they run like the devil's chasing them. But Jade loves it and I love that she does.
Jade's relationship with the guys progresses fairly well, things certainly take a surprising turn with a couple of them. Arran and Maxum knows what she is to them, they're just trying to get her there. Calder is in deep denial about his feelings until the end. The real surprise is Flint. Flint is opening up and exploring his feelings more, things are starting to develop. As for the rest of the plot, we finally get answers. Flint's past is revealed and it explains so much, we finally find out what happened to Orsen, all the crap that, that a-hole Rob has been up to is revealed and finally some of the mystery about Jade is revealed. However, there's still a lot we don't know about Jade's family and her power.
Charming Her Monsters was awesome. A lot has changed over the course of this book and I liked where the relationships are headed. There's still a lot we don't know and there has been at least two really sketchy scenes that makes me think that the answers might be in Jade's past. I can't wait to see how Jade's story wraps up in Enchanting Her Monsters.
Jade is one lucky female! She’s everything those guys didn’t know they needed. They are perfect for her also. She’s got patience for Flint, compassion for Calder, understanding for Osen, loyalty for Maxum and passion for Aaran. Calder, the Phoenix, saw a different person when Jade allowed Osen to speak and kiss him. With no demands in return, he starts to think of her differently. A new eye. Maybe she isn’t the wicked witch he thought she was. The guys also saw how he wasn’t as unaffected as he liked to act. Letting Osen take over for those few moments was like someone turning a key in a lock. It changed the tone of the story. Too bad it was at the end of the book. Although I won’t complain because the whole book was Ahmazing! Aaran her werewolf/beserker future mate, steadfastly defended and protected her even when there was damning evidence. He’s the complete mate package. I Love how protective he is with Jade. Reading his driving need to take care of her was perfect. She needed someone in her corner because she had a crappy life before them all. No one other than her magical familiars she took in thinking they were strays, loved her the way he does for her. Obsession is a good word for it but he compromises when she asks for space. It just about kills him but he does it. He’s always wanting to clean out her tunnel of love when someone else leaves it “dirty”. Never wanting their scents left on her, only his. The bedroom or even outside the bedroom, naughty scenes had me wishing I was her. He is Attentive. Lol she needs him as well. His love and support is everything she’s ever truly wanted. Maxum fell harder for her in this book and recognizes her as his true demon mate. There was only one spot in the book that he doubted her. Which she understood when they talked about her name and someone matching the same name of a suspected bad guy witch. It is suspicious and she agrees, even her writer mind agreed that questions needed to be answered. Turns out her name is exactly the same as her mom, she legally shortened it when her mom disowned her. Maxum just wants to protect his pack, which now includes Jade, so she wasn’t offended. Jade fell for her demon quickly in this book, she enjoyed her alone sexy time with him when he was in demon form, she also loved the ménage tois with Aaron. His possessiveness balances out his sharing. He will share as long as he gets one on one with her after. Flint our resident gargoyle became more of an active member of Jades pack when they all saw how he was taking care of her. Cooking her meals at the different safe houses. He turns to stone when someone touches him in fear. When he caught Jade and turned to stone is when he really started opening up. We got to read more of point of views, we got a background history and answers to why he doesn’t like touch. Jade respects him and does her best to minimize contact which gets him thinking about more. When she pulled away, he didn’t want her too. He finally saw her as the innocent he was always hoping for. The lie detector in their group. Each interaction with her, affirms how good she is, no lies. He’s got the fanciest peens of them all. He was naive in all bedroom ways until Jade, and she blew his mind. She’s so witty and intelligent, kind, beautiful. They realized she’s his true mate as well because of the shared thoughts. It reassuring for him because he can always anticipate what she needs. That protective nature coming out in play as well. Her gentle mate. Naive, but has definitely been through stuff. Osen, the dead incubus, he’s impulsive and a bit of a jerk. He was missing for a good 3 quarters of the book but he came back thankfully. I’m hopeful Jade turns into something like a necromancer or some kind of hybrid. Channeling spirits is definitely useful so the guys can help find out what happened to Osen. She finally gets convinced that the guys want her regardless if Osen is still in her. I mean, the body is preserved. Thats foreshadowing! Can’t wait to see how his presence changes the dynamic of their relations. I loved how everything flowed. How natural the characters relationships developed, there’s a few that hit it off instantly, others took longer but nothing felt forced to move the story along. The guys see her let Rob in and find out that he’s spelled her to speak to the ghosts before he consumes them. The guys had to save her numerous times after this. It brings them closer together, especially having to flee when it becomes clear their locations been compromised. I didn’t suspect her hamster was a bad shifter guy. Rob plays a huge part in all the bad guy chapters. Cant wait to see how they kick his butt!
This is the second book of Yve Vale’s Bewitching Monsters trilogy and I have to say…..still loving it! This is not a standalone novel. It starts right where the first book left off, so if has been awhile, you may want to refresh.
Maxum, Arran and Osen all play strong roles in this installment, but we see much more of Flint and Calder in this book, and I am so glad we do. Despite Jade’s evolving magical abilities and unknowing involvement in the war between supes and witches, her self-less and accepting nature is truly what allows them to see her as more than a witch. And in turn, we progressively see much more of how Jade can heal each of them individually as well as the pack as a whole.
Flint is a gargoyle with a traumatic past that causes him to literally turn to stone with a touch. He initially stands back and is wary, but Jade does not let that deter her and manages to engage him and develop a friendship with him. Something no other women has been able to do in centuries.
Calder….well, he is a bit more difficult. His past experiences have caused him to develop extreme prejudice and anger against witches that is difficult for them both to overcome. But maybe some of that anger is misdirected?
I love the evolution of the group and how the center is now changing. Something that some are now officially embracing. Told in a multi-person POV (thank you!!), it really gives insight to each character’s thoughts and feelings as their bonds to Jade and each other develop and how the dynamics are changing. The s3x was hot, but it enhanced and did not overwhelm the story.
There were the laugh-out loud scenes again and those that tugged at the heart strings. The surprise pop-ups throughout the story kept me engaged, and the ending made me immediately hit her website for the release date of book 3. But I’ll wait patiently and take Trouble’s advice to stay happy, 😉!
In this book, Jade and her monsters are slowly learning to accept and understand one another. Osen, the possessing spirit of the guys’ dead teammate, remains a concern. Meanwhile, they’re still on the run from Rob and the other evil witches hunting Jade. This book focuses more on the group getting to know each other than on the external threats.
What still disturbs me is how distrustful Maxum still is of his “mate.” Anytime he hears anything that even slightly suggests Jade might be betraying them, he immediately withdraws, denies her affection, and basically interrogates her until he gets to the truth. Then, as if nothing happened, he acts like everything’s fine again. Jade claims she understands, but I’m not so understanding. Is she going to be a suspect to them forever?

Charming her Monsters, this is the second installment of Jade’s journey, the first book was Jade’s introduction to not only her mates but in a very real way, to herself. Having her magic hidden from herself her entire life was intense, finding out what you thought was true was all false, can be traumatic. This second book is where we get to see how strong Jade really is. She doesn’t ever really get a chance to just stop and figure it out, it’s all on the run. But none of it is alone either, she does it with her mates. Maxum, Arran, Flint, and eventually, hopefully, Calder.
Yve gives us a little more to the story, but like any good storyteller she doesn’t give us the whole tale. If you slow down your reading and pay attention, (or do what I did, devour it once then go back and savor it the second time), you’ll catch those few dropped hints of things to come that she teases us with. I think I know what’s coming, (my fingers are crossed for what I hope), but Yve is also the Queen of plot twists that make me scream, much like her cliffhangers. I mean, seriously? Again? I thought you loved me?
Honestly, I love this author. Her world building, characters and dialogue are outstanding. Her writing is consistent, the characters grow and change normally like one would expect in tense situations. Her ‘bad guys’ are easy to hate, and her ‘good guys’ are easy to lust after. Now, if she’d only get book three done.
What a page turner! After speeding through the first book, I absolutely devoured this one in a matter of a few hours. The story had me constantly wondering what will happen next. Perfect amount of action and RH spice! The only thing I hate is the wait for the final book and I hope it's soon. I feel so invested in these characters and I want so badly for them to all have a HEA. Jade is making progress with Calder slowly, but I loved seeing her relationships with the rest of her monsters.
Like the first book, this one ends on another cliffhanger, which is killing me! Readers must read these in order to understand what is going on, as there is very little summary of prior book. Sometimes I get tired of reading books with perfect women, but Jade's character is so authentic, funny, and kind. She tries to find the best in people, no matter how they treat her. She pushes on despite the constant hurdles life throws at her, and she survives through the pain and trauma of an ex-boyfriend and the things he did to her in the past. Pay attention to TWs!
Highly recommend this hilarious, spicy romp through the 3 realms with Jade and her 5 monsters, as they all work to survive and find their reason to keep living. Monsters, witches, magic, action and fated mates ... what more could you ask for!?
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
We get to know more about the characters in this storyline. Jade is a wonderful character to help the guys heal. Jade sees them for who they are, and yet she shows them how much she cares for them without asking them to change that part of themselves. Her guys are a werewolf (Arran), a gargoyle (Flint), a phoenix (Calder), and a demon (Maxum). Calder seems more standoffish than the others. And she has made a friend in the skittish Flint. Again, her loving acceptance is helping them to heal and making the group stronger. She is shocked to discover she is a witch, which is why she is the one who can communicate with the ghost of Osen who was murdered. And she may not realize the awkward position she is in as the animosity increases between the witches and the other supernaturals. That kind of puts her on the wrong side of any potential battle that breaks out. But her guys want to keep her safe.
Just as I mentioned about Book 1, the storyline is really good, but the characters are awesome and so easy to like. Even Calder seems to be getting more comfortable with Jade. Will they make any progress in finding out who killed Osen?
"Charming Her Monsters," as the second book in the series, continues the journey with plenty of intriguing moments, though it does face some of the typical challenges that come with being the middle book. The relationships between the characters progress quickly, which may not resonate with everyone, especially with the fated mate trope that doesn’t quite shine as brightly this time around.
Jade, as a character, remains interesting, though her behavior in a few scenes feels a bit more youthful than expected for someone nearing 40. It added a surprising layer to her personality, even if it felt slightly out of place at times. Some of the dialogue might come across as a bit quirky, but it also adds a unique flavor to the story.
Despite these points, I found myself captivated enough to keep reading, eager to see how the story unfolds. If you’ve been following the series, there’s still plenty to enjoy in this installment, and it’s worth the read to stay connected with the characters and their world!.

I’m not going to lie, this book was even better than the first one. I’m talking at the edge of my seat not knowing where the story was going to turn type good. I would say at this point Jade is an unreliable narrator at times, not because she’s evil or bad but because there’s a lot of things SHE’S not even aware of. Which makes us as a reader not know what to think.
I will say my heart hurts for some of things she and the men had to go through and I’m glad they have each other now so they can mend whatever pieces they’ve had broken from their rough past. Speaking of the Men they are amazing!! Even Calder who was absolutely rough around the edges at first. Last book I definitely had a favorite and that was Arran, but now I’m super attached to Flint. Omg, he’s the sweetest teddy bear ever, and I want him for myself. Onsen is a whole arse problem child, but I’ve given him a pass due to certain circumstances. All in all I’m dying for the next book, it can’t come soon enough. Also the smut in this book is unmatched. Highly recommend this read.
Jumping in where we left off this sequel is without a doubt thrilling, 🌶, and action packed.
Jade is living the dream. Kind of. She's surrounded by hot af men who are devoted to her. Well, most of them are we still have hold outs. Don't worry, though. The more they resist, the harder they tend to fall. Too bad she's got a psycho ex, burgeoning new powers, and some more secrets coming out to light.
Arran and Maxum were 100% team Jade. I love that even when things come out, they're unwavering in their belief in her. Flint really plays a bigger part in this, and we get more backstory of his. Calder is still suspicious and antagonistic towards Jade. The tension between them is high when they finally give in its going to be 🥵.
I can't wait to find out more about Jade's family. There seems to be plenty of secrets that need to come out. Her pets are freaking adorable. I love them. There were times during the story where I was like, but what about the pets? I've got some theories about what could happen, and I'm excited to see if I'm right.
** Cliffhanger Warning! ** I love this book. It's part two of what I hope will be at least a trilogy. So, I recommend reading the first book before getting sucked in to this fabulous story. This is another fun, fantasy, enemies to lovers, reverse harem romance with a few monsters and lots of laugh out loud moments. The action is now fast-paced, there's more romance, AND the *cough* plot thickens!
This series is almost perfect for a Halloween season read. I love the mix of monster species, witchy stuff, and humor. The over-arching mystery is still brewing, but there are a couple of clues. They're not being handed out, you have to look and read between the lines, but they're there.
I'm so happy to see more of the world building as Jade, Arran, Maxum, Calder, Flint, and Osen run around from place to place. I also enjoyed the steamy scenes as Jade bonds further with her guys.
"Did it sound as if I’m objectifying you for demon s3x?” She reaches out to me in apology. “I totally value your brain and great personality, too. You know that, right?” I chuckle because of the role reversal happening here. “I know, sweet witch. Would it bother you if I told you I only wanted you for your curvy body?” “Not at all.” She smiles shyly. “I like that you like my body. Also, I don’t think that’s entirely true. You like my weird personality a bit, too.” “You’re right. I love your weird personality.”
I really enjoyed the first book in this series, so I was looking forward to continuing their story. Great world building. Jade was my favorite character. I love her personality. As for the guys, I was drawn to some more than others for varying reasons. I liked her with Maxum best, I think. But still liked them all. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series. 4 stars.
Jade and her monsters are back, and if you loved the 1st book, prepare yourself for an even better ride this time around. We learn a lot about Jade and the guys in this installment, but we still have plenty questions left unanswered, as well as new mysteries. Just like the 1st time, we have plenty of emotions flying around during the book. There is plenty of humor, but don’t let the laughter fool you, because there are plenty of deeper & darker moments too. The passion and chemistry is still on point too, and we get plenty of good spicy scenes, without making it feel like that’s all the story’s about. I hope the 3rd book will be out soon, because I’m so ready to see our guys truly give in and lock down their bonds with Jade. I’m thoroughly invested in seeing Jade and her guys get their HEA 🙌🏻❤️
I received an ARC of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the second book in the Bewitching Monsters series where Jade is a paranormal romance author who stumbles upon a group of supernatural beings that she is now involved with. Turns out she's secretly a witch and has been taken advantage of by a warlock trying to manipulate her special brand of magic. Jade and the dudes are going from safehouse to safehouse just trying to figure out Jade's magic and protect from the attacks from Rob's interference with Jade's life. Jade softens the hearts of the rest of the pack while they're on the run.
This one was a lot more spice now that they're getting more comfortable in their relationships. The mystery is starting to come together, I thought it was just 2 books though so the ending was abrupt for me. I'm assuming Jade's family drama will be revealed in the next book to solve all the problems.

Fabulous Paranormal Why Choose Sequel I have been looking forward to this book for months and it did not disappoint. Except, you know, there’s one more to wait for. This book made me laugh, and it made me cry, and it made me…breathless with antici-----pation (Rocky Horror reference). I’m going to start calling Yve Vale the Queen of Cliffhangers because with this series she picks the perfect spot to leave you hanging. Charming Her Monsters picks up right where Bewitching Her Monsters ends. There is some resolution, but with every question answered, more questions arise. (Hail, Hydra.) Existing relationships are strengthened, formed, and tentatively forming as Jade and the pack navigate their way through a myriad of obstacles. Leaving us, again, with a brilliant cliffhanger. I received an ARC from the author. This is my honest review.
This has alotta twists and turns so hang ON! OKAY, so we are no more closer to finding out why rob the knob wants jade other thN he uses her for her powers but why the witch girl hates jade? Things get hawt and heavy with the sweet, cinnamon roll gargoyle! Actually, I thought it would have taken longer to open up his onion layers! But, he's a good onion and we love onions! Yummy! Calder the Phoenix repairs his relationship w Osen and in turn opens up more to Jade. I think the 3rd book will be about him mating w jade and hopefully what the weird magic the guys claim she has. At the end, we have Amira, a good witch and her 2 mates giving refuge to the rag tag bunch and Amira will assess jades magic. Hopefully, this gives us closure as to what jade is. Please, I hope they find some way to bring osen back to his body or let him go. Yes, on to book 3!
Talk about one amazing story, this one is definitely on the list. The story continues where book 1 leaves off. We have Jade and the pack going from one thing after another. This story is jammed packed with action, drama, suspense, and mystery. It pulls you in and doesn’t let go. I absolutely love Jade and her quirky sense of humor. She has this sweet wonderful disposition that is just felt throughout the story. I love Flint and how much we see of him in this book. We see relationships expanding and growing. We are learning more about all of the characters and their pasts. This story is extremely well written and developed. It is a gripping story to the point you just have to see what happens. Then we get to this amazing cliffhanger and I absolutely cannot wait to see what happens next.
I have to say I wasn't sure if I could love Jade more than I already did. But this second installment upped that love even more. She has continued to grow into her powers and who she is meant to be. Her relationship with the men has also begun to improve. The two she didn't have much of a religion with before are now coming around. Flint is the sweetest one so far. Each of her men/monsters has their redeeming qualities, and I really cannot wait to see what this author does with them in the next book. Jade has had to accept so much about herself in such a short period, and she is starting to come into her own. I just hope that whatever outside forces don't ruin things for her. Yve, keep up what you're doing. This story is getting so good.
This is a good second installment of this trilogy. It had multiple pov which is always a must for me. I took a star off however because Max was so quick to distrust his mate he was falling in love with again like wait wtf you are preaching her innocence and using your magic to pick through her mind but you see one thing and you jump back instantly to the oh she must be evil campaign no sir homie don’t play those games. I was hoping they could shove the osen back into his well preserved meat suit but that didn’t happen. I did preorder book 3 cuz I wanna know where this ends and 🙏 for the love of cheese please don’t try to turn the fmc into an OmEgA not every book needs that.
This book had me kicking my feet screaming and giggling like a teenager with a crush.
Firstly the plot has me completely hooked and I am DYING to know where this is all leading.
I got exactly what I wished for in the exploration of Flint and Jade's relationship and bonding. And while things are tentative with Calder I am rooting for this soft hearted jerk who can't help but feel the need to wall off if only so he doesn't have to be vulnerable. TBH I can relate.
I really love that we got to see more of these 2 and what makes them tick. They're so soft, I just want to wrap them in a blanket and give them positive affirmations.
I am really excited to see what else this series has in store.
the book was really good, but at the same time, the continued mistrust of her is starting to wear thin on me, especially because it keeps getting glossed over by the FMC. How many times are they going to flop back-and-forth between believing her and not believing her before she’s gonna actually start taking offense? Especially reading that they were going to consider not completing their mating bond? If those were my men, I’d be thinking that every time something comes up, they’re immediately gonna mistrust me again and that’s not a healthy relationship. It needs to be addressed in the next book or the author will hopefully move the characters past that haha
This is the second book in the bewitching monsters series, the first book bewitching her monsters needs to be read first. We are back again for book 2 of jades story and continuation from book 1. I loved this book more than the first book, we are now starting to get some answers to the questions from the first book. This book has great plot and world building and I love the fact that jade isn’t a “20s something woman” and is older woman, she has more maturity aswell. The men in this book are just yummy and I love how their stories have shown a deeper side to them. Can’t wait for book 3 to see how this ends! 5/5 ⭐️ 5/5 plot/ world building 🌍 3/5 🌶️
I adore this world and these characters. I can’t go on enough about how much I love them. But there is so much going on that we know nothing about, and I need all the answers NOW. As soon as I started reading this, I forgot about everything else I needed to be doing because it was just that good. Nice spicy scenes. A storyline that keeps your attention. Small moments between the characters that lead to both character and relationship development. What else could I ask for? Oh, right. MORE PLEASE!!! Yve has done an amazing job with this series, and she always leaves me wanting more. Can’t wait for the next book!
