Hayley Faiman was born and raised in the Central Valley of California. She and her husband met when they were still in High School. They were married a few years later. They lived in Oregon while her husband was in the US Coast Guard. "Taboo perfect storm" is a very tough one to review.
It is steamy, there is action, suspense and angst.

What i liked:
- The story is highly emotional
- The plot is good
- It is well written

What i didn't like:
- The MMC in a couple of instances made me hate him (I wish i could mention why, but it would be a spoiler).
- The MFC is boneless (Even though it is somehow justified).

If not for a couple of details, i could even have gone for 5 stars, as the story is good.
I will try one more book from the author.

Taboo Perfect Storm has some real MC Goodness for those that love this trope. I’m a huge fan of this trope and of Faiman. This series differentiates from her other MC’s by the men being a little more alpha and a little less A-hole. If you know, you know, lol.

Piper becomes involved with the MC, thanks to her class-a, dirtbag brothers. Luckily for her, it turned out to be the best thing that could have ever happened for her life.

Itch sees her, remembers a past encounter and steps up to claim her. He is more aloha than a-hole and comes through in a big way for Piper.

Their slow-burn romance is actually very sweet and there is genuine care and concern for each other. I loved seeing a little softer side of the MC Man. This was a good book. I am looking forward to the next installation.

"Devil's Hellions MC: Taboo Perfect Storm" ist der dritte Teil der "Devil's Hellions MC" Reihe. Jeder Teil kann vollkommen unabhängig voneinander gelesen werden, jede Geschichte ist abgeschlossen. Wie es aber in einem MC und unter Freunden so ist, es gibt immer ein Wiedersehen.



Ich habe jetzt schon einige MC Reihen gelesen und geliebt. Als der Verlag diese Reihe vorgestellt hat, brauchte ich nicht wirklich lange zu überlegen ob ich sie lesen möchte, gerade auch da ich von der Autorin schon eine andere Reihe gelesen habe und daher sofort wusste, das es einfach toll werden würde.



Ich mag Bad Boys in solchen Büchern unheimlich gerne, die trotz allem meistens einen weichen Kern haben. Und dieses Setting hat wirklich wieder alles, was so ein Setting für mich haben sollte: Es gibt Bad Boys, und was für welche, es gibt Action und natürlich darf auch die Spannung nicht fehlen. Itch und auch Piper durfte ich ja schon kurz kennenlernen und habe mich schon sehr auf ihre Geschichte gefreut , ich wurde auch nicht eine Sekunde lang enttäuscht. Gerade mit Piper habe ich so sehr mitgelitten, sie hat einfach nur das Beste verdient und auch bekommen.



Der Schreibstil ist wieder wie ich ihn kenne und liebe, einfach wunderschön. Er ist fesselnd, spannend und wieder so mitreißend. Ich freue mich jetzt schon auf alles was da noch kommen wird. Dankeschön das ich es lesen durfte.



Obwohl Itch vom ersten Moment an wusste, das er der Falsche für Piper sein würde, kann er sie aber auch keinem anderen überlassen. Er stimmt dem "Friedensvertrag" zu sie zu heiraten. Piper hat ein Leben in Freiheit nie kennengelernt, sie wusste immer das ihre Brüder eine besondere "Aufgabe" für sie haben. Doch mit Itch kommt die Hoffnung und Licht in ihr Leben...

I was honestly just mad this entire book. First off, I felt like I missed a whole lot of information about how Itch (bad name btw) and piper knew each other, cause apparently she saved him somehow? Expected it’s only ever mentioned as if I know what they’re referring to, and I don’t. I’m assuming it happened in a previous book if they didn’t include it in this one, but this is marketed as a standalone so that was really frustrating and honestly made it hard to connect to the characters. And Itch was just so unlikeable, usually I don’t have an issue with that cause I know they’re “morally grey” and everything but he just pissed me off. There was not nearly enough groveling and it honestly seemed like he didn’t even care about her. Anyway rant over this just made me mad😭

This feels a bit more like the old skool Hayley that I came to love. In saying that there were also a few things that’s frustrated the hell out of me but that’s the thing about Hayley and MC’s you kinda want that to keep you hooked. Itch was a bit of a douche, no he was a big one for a good 75% of the boom until he had an epiphany an realised that he was a colossal ass. You cannot fault the doormat h for being weak given her upbringing but even as she developed I would have thought a bit more of a spine has grown
Overall I enjoyed it, and i hope that we continue to get a little more like this for Hayley.

I'm on the fence about this author. I do enjoy a good angsty MC romance, but some are a bit too much and this one was it. Nothing about Itch was likeable - he was over 40 yrs old (the FL was only 18) and he was one of the most immature, clueless, mysogynistic pigs ever. I kept waiting for this guy to grovel more; most of the grovelling was in his head. And truly, I don't care how sexy or big their d*cks are, there's no way a woman could take this much b.s. and just melt because he does her good. It's pathetic. And especially how this idiot Itch kept telling the FL he would protect her - he couln't protect a cat! Just don't bother with this one! HATED IT!

What a great read!!!!

Taboo Perfect Storm is a fabulous MC, age gap, and exciting story! Haley has written another great story!
Itch is such an alpha and becomes Piper's protector. He helps keep her tormentors away from her. This story is so action-packed that you can't put it down.

This story has my two favorite subjects, MC and age gap, and they are so well written in this book. I highly recommend this book to read.

The story was excellent and compelling, it focus on Itch and Piper relationship. Itch isn’t committed to Piper. He still having sex with the other sweet butts before his marriage to Piper. The novel involves the other MC members and their old ladies. It was a great read.

Itch and Piper have a laundry list of communication problems, other bad actors who want to tear them apart, but find their HEA.

And the lack of follow up on sexual health and lack of condoms really annoyed me, 1 conversation about being tested then no actual testing.
Her not having keys to the house or transport was also disturbing.

Das Cover ist wieder toll geworden und fügt sich sehr gut in die bestehende Reihe ein.

Mein Fazit:
Der Schreibstil ist sehr gut und die Geschichte lässt sich leicht und flüssig lesen. Sie wird abwechselnd aus der Sicht von Piper und Itch erzählt - was ich persönlich sehr liebe, weil man die beiden dadurch noch besser kennen und verstehen lernt.
Und ich muss ehrlich sagen mit Itch habe ich einige Zeit gebraucht um mit ihm warm zu werden. Den sein verhalten ganz am Anfang fand ich nicht gerade super, aber mit der Zeit konnte man seine Gedanken besser verfolgen und verstehen.
Und natürlich hätten die beiden bei weiten früher glücklich werden können, hätten sie mehr miteinander gesprochen.
Piper ist eine ganz liebe und alleine was sie durchgemacht hat fand ich echt schlimm und ich bin froh für sie, dass sie dieser Situation entkommen konnte.
Natürlich war es auch wieder sehr spannend und auch die Nebencharaktere wurden sehr gut in die Geschichte mit eingebunden.
Dieses Mal gab es auch wieder so einige Hasscharaktere - doch auch die haben ihre Strafe bekommen (auf die eine oder andere Weise)
Und jetzt stelle ich mir die Frage: Was ist mit Reese passiert und wo ist sie? Ich hoffe das wird im nächsten Buch geklärt.

Zur Geschichte:
Piper wurde gerade von ihrem Bruder an den Club der Devils übergeben und wie es jetzt mit ihr weiter geht, das wird sie bald erfahren. Den als die Besprechung vorbei ist - sagt ihr Bruder nur, sie soll ihn nicht blamieren. Und als etwas später die anderen Mitglieder aus der Versammlung kommen - spricht sie der Mann an (den sie damals gepflegt hat) und sagt ihr das sie jetzt ihm gehört. Das heißt für sie, sie wird diesen Mann heiraten. Itch ist nicht gerade begeistert darüber, weil sie ja noch zu jung ist, aber einen anderen will er sie auch nicht überlassen, den immerhin findet er sie richtig gut. Und weil er mit dieser Situation etwas überfordert ist, lässt er sich immer wieder etwas volllaufen und dabei passiert es, dass er bei einer anderen Frau im Bett aufwacht.
Daraufhin beschließt er jetzt mehr für Piper da zu sein und deshalb kauft er ein Haus für sie beide. Das lässt er Piper und die Frauen einrichten. Und als die Hochzeit endlich von statten geht - kommen sich die beiden sogar noch etwas näher und sie verstehen sich auch sehr gut. Doch er ist trotz allem immer wieder mit der Situation etwas überfordert, weshalb er immer mal wieder verschwindet.
Doch dann passiert es - diese Frau vor ein paar Monaten steht plötzlich im Club auf der Matte und behauptet von Itch schwanger zu sein.
Natürlich fällt Piper aus allen Wolken - doch sie kann ja nichts machen, weil sie vertraglich an ihn gebunden ist.
Doch was bedeutet das jetzt tatsächlich für Itch und Piper? Werden sie das alles schaffen?

„Taboo Perfect Storm“ von Hayley Faiman ist der dritte Band ihrer spannenden Biker Romance Reihe um den Devil’s Hellions MC.
Itch ist der Roadcaptain der Devil’s Hellions, der bei einer kürzlichen Rettungsmission für die Old Lady eines Bruders fast sein Leben verloren hätte. Sein rettender Engel war die 18-jährige Piper, deren Schicksal nun in den Händen des MC liegt. Itch kann nicht zulassen, dass ein anderer Piper bekommt und so erklärt er sich sofort bereit, sie als Gegenleistung für ein neues Bündnis zu heiraten. Natürlich hat er Zweifel wegen der 23 Jahre Altersunterschied. Und seine Rachepläne bezüglich ihrer beiden Brüder könnten auch tödliche Konsequenzen haben. Doch Piper ist die Erste, für die Itch sein Leben ändern würde, oder für die er zumindest einen Versuch in diese Richtung unternehmen würde.

Es geht spannend weiter in der packenden Reihe von Hayley Faiman und es wäre schon von Vorteil, wenn man die vorangegangenen Bände gelesen hat. Ich denke jedoch, man könnte auch durchaus ohne Vorkenntnisse einsteigen. Der Schreibstil liest sich leicht und flüssig und beide Hauptfiguren erzählen abwechselnd aus ihren jeweiligen Perspektiven.
Pipers Sichtweise hat mich dabei am meisten berührt, denn obwohl sie noch jung ist, ist sie bereits durch die Hölle gegangen und konnte sich immer nur auf sich selbst verlassen. Am liebsten würde sie unsichtbar mit der Wand verschmelzen, denn eine Aussicht auf Glück hat sie längst für sich abgeschrieben. Ich will nicht leugnen, dass ihre bitteren Erfahrungen Itch bzw. Kyle definitiv in die Karten spielen, denn dadurch liegen Pipers Ansprüche an einen Mann oder eine Beziehung im unterirdischen Bereich.
Bei Itch war ich hin- und hergerissen. Man muss ihm zugutehalten, dass er grundsätzlich gute Absichten hat, aber die Umsetzung ist eindeutig noch sehr ausbaufähig. Da sich seine Beziehungserfahrungen aber auch im Null-Bereich bewegen, kann man ihm nur bedingt Vorwürfe machen. Kommunikationstechnisch sind die Jungs allesamt sehr sparsam unterwegs, was natürlich für ständige Missverständnisse und Probleme sorgt.
Als fiktive Lovestory funktionieren Piper und Kyle sehr gut und man darf mit den beiden mitfiebern. Die Twists sind gelungen und der Funke springt über. Jetzt bin ich neugierig auf die Geschichte von Agony und Reese, die auch sehr interessant zu werden verspricht.

Ich gebe sehr gern eine Leseempfehlung!

Hayley Faiman is the amazing author responsible for creating another amazing story.
Taboo Perfect Storm is her latest release and it's the third book from the Devil's Hellions MC series.
This book explores the lives of Piper and Itch.
Piper used to be a pawn in her brothers' lives. She used to be treated like a business transaction and their latest "deal" almost killed her.
When her brothers have this brilliant idea of marriage.
Itch is one of the brothers. His life revolves around his club and nothing else.
When he's saved by a beautiful woman, he couldn't imagine the turn his life was about to get...
Oh, my word...
This book killed me softly.
Perfect plot, well written, super engaging, and dark.
Loved the way the characters worked with each other, but let me tell you, that there were parts of the story that I wanted to slap someone silly...
It's not easy to trust someone when you've been let down over and over again by your family.
It's not easy to see yourself as a person when you've been treated like an object...
How can a contract marriage prevail?
How can you live your life and fall in love?
It wasn't easy to witness all the pain and doubts, but I enjoyed every single chapter.
And the hot stuff was there as well... Hot, hot, hot.
It was amazing to read a bit more about the other characters from this series and I'm counting down the days for the next book to arrive...
It's going to be an intense story, that's for sure.

Ein Bündnis, Ihr Lichtblick
Dies ist nun der dritte Band dieser spannenden MC – Reihe von Hayey Faiman, den ich gelesen habe. Das Cover wieder sehr schön mit einer frischen Farbe im Schriftzug was mir sehr gut gefällt.
Itch (Kyle) der Radcaptain des Clubs und die junge Piper sind hier der Dreh- und Angelpunkt.
Diese beiden haben bereits in Band 2 einen spannenden Auftritt, dennoch ist dieser gut als Einzelband lesbar.
Itch ist überzeugt dass er nicht der richtige für Piper ist, aber seine Gefühle sprechen eine andere Sprache. Es fällt ihm also nicht so schwer sie aufgrund eines Bündnisses zu heiraten, denn kein anderer Mann außer ihm soll sie bekommen. Piper hingegen hat schon viel zu viel erlebt und kennt kein anderes Leben als das, welches ihr durch ihre beiden Brüder auferlegt wurde. Für sie gibt es keinen anderen Ausweg als diesen 23 Jahre älteren Mann zu heiraten.
Diese Konstellation ist natürlich schwierig in Einklang zu bringen, was der Autorin dennoch gut gelingt. Flüssiger Schreibstil garantiert. Mit beiden Protagonisten habe ich zwischendurch mal gehadert und mich gefragt ob dies tatsächlich so dargestellt werden muss. Auch die anderen Jungs waren verhältnismäßig „ruhig“ in dieser Geschichte. Überzeugt haben mich hier die Mädels die sich um Piper gekümmert haben, diese Freundschaft entwickeln zu sehen hat mir sehr gut gefallen.
Auch kann man gut erkennen wer im nächsten Band eine „Hauptrolle“ bekommt. Freue mich schon darauf diese zu lesen.

Fazit: Spannende Lovestory mit Action.
Klare Leseempfehlung von mir.

Another 5⭐️ MC from Hayley! I loved Itch and Piper’s story. My heart really went out to Piper, she’s had such a horrible life and was treated like nothing other than an object by her brothers. Then she gets contracted off to Itch to marry and you can clearly see much Itch tries, and just when things are going good for them, someone drops heartbreaking news. I saw this little development coming, and I was just waiting for it. I really felt for Piper. Itch got me a little mad at first, he kept saying how much he couldn’t stop thinking about Piper, and how she was his from the moment she took care of him and he even demanded he be the one to marry her, yet it didn’t stop him from letting Thunder give him a bj, and he got so drunk and spent the night with Tempt. Which resulted in a shitstorm of problems for him, his marriage and the club. Granted these things happened before he was married, but still he was already falling for Piper and knew they were getting married. But with that being said, after they were married he really stepped up and made an effort to be a good husband- faithful. And he was.
I really enjoyed this book, I was constantly on the edge of my seat waiting for the next bomb to hit! It was constant action, suspense and some really spicy scenes between Itch and Piper! I can’t wait for Agony and Reece’s story next!

What I liked- I thought this book was very good. Neither main character was perfect, but there were both layers and growth. The secondary characters were also good. The story kept me engaged.
What I didn’t- the title. I know that the theme is “Perfect Storm” but putting an unconnected word in front of it doesn’t make a title that makes sense. I’m also getting very tired of the Kidnapping trope. This is the third book in this series and in all three the heroine has been kidnapped.
Verdict- recommended. I really enjoyed reading this and found it entertaining.

I fell in love with these characters from the beginning of the book. Itch is a man who really has never considered marriage until an opportunity arises and he decides he will marry the very young, very beautiful Piper. I loved Piper from the beginning. She has lived a hard life and has never had anything or anyone she can call her own. UNTIL........ Itch. She has always been a pawn and never really felt like she belonged anywhere. She has been made to feel like she is nothing therefore she deserves nothing.
Yes she is young and that was a little hard for him to handle, but she was the person who showed him kindness when he was placed in a position where he may not have made it. The misunderstandings that happen are due to both their age difference and Itch thinking like a man. LOL. My heart hurt for Piper and their were a few different times I wanted to kick Itch in the shins. Their relationship is an uphill battle with outside forces throwing different things at them. Ultimately they both fight for what they want and prove to the outside world that yes they are made for each other. I highly recommend this book!

Loving this darker series from Haley! As a result of her brothers, Piper has become involved with the MC, and has no desire to go back to her brother’s MC, although that’s not really a choice as she is now property of the MC. After she helps save Itch, he steps up and claims her, although it’s not really out of obligation rather than how attracted he is to her. Thankfully, she also feels the same way, and while things might not have started out traditionally between these two, you can instantly feel the love and chemistry between these two, and you already know they are going to make it forever. Per typical MC drama, we see some girls fight for Itch, although he only has eyes for Piper, and we see her brothers try to risk her happiness with him, and in the end these two get the HEA they deserve, and Piper is able to live without fear of her past. These two were so cute, and I love how Piper could hold her own when fighting for Itch, and while Itch was slightly stupid with not realizing how things normally go, the MC wives help him out and keep things going.

Smoothly written biker romance, quick and easy read. The tough imperturbable biker Itch sees his life turned upside down by the much younger insecure Piper. Piper has quite a traumatic past for a young person. When she's forced to marry Itch, both don't know what to expect, both have never been in a relationship before, and both think the other deserves better. As they try to build a real relationship together, all kinds of unexpected obstacles come their way, her brothers and their past won't leave them alone. Yet they eventually find their future together. Entertaining story. What was a bit annoying that it was always mentioned how young Piper was, at some point we do know that! Sweet is how Itch has a soft spot for Piper and doesn't know how to deal with it.
Part of a series, but very good to read as a standalone, there is a happy ending for these two, but an ongoing story for the MC. There are a few steamy scenes, and some criminal activity as well.

Taboo Perfect Storm had pretty much everything that I enjoy -age gap, OW drama, angst and a damaged but not broken h. I enjoyed this story and despite not having read the previous books in the series felt that it wasn't an issue (I would recommend reading the previous books to get a fuller story, which is what I will be doing this weekend). I loved pretty much all the characters, though Piper did frustrate me on occasions which I could get past, putting it down to both her age and her upbringing. The only thing that I wish we had more of was seeing Piper and Kyle's relationship develop (but again, this can be attributed to the way they began, and the MC lifestyle) all in all a great read with great characters that I plan to catch up and continue following with the next book in the series.

Piper and Itch (Kyle) meet in less than favorable circumstances.Piper was sold by her one brother to be groomed as a sex slave by a trafficker, then bartered by her other brother to a motorcycle club to protect his interests. Kyle was cared for by Piper when the sex trafficker badly beat him. So when his club was given her to be a wife for a member, Itch claimed her. And then the plot thickens even more.

I liked this book. The story has more depth than a lot of MC sagas. There are plenty of twists and turns in the plot to hold your interest. The characters are complex. Although both main characters truly want their marriage to work, their perceptions of their situation and their pasts conspire to keep them from fully commiting to each other. This story held my attention to the very end. I hope there are more installments coming in this series.

This is the 3rd book in the Devil's Hellions MC series featuring the intense heartbreaking age-gap forced marriage between Itch and Piper. Piper has lived a life that no child should have to endure at only 18yrs old she's been through hell and back tormented thanks to her brother's. Itch is conducting business when he's offered Piper as part of the deal he knows that he should say no but he can't there's just something about her that calls to him. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this intense and heartbreaking age-gap forced marriage romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book and I'm looking forward to the next book in this wonderful series.

This is the third book in the Devils Hellion’s MC, Itch and Pipers story told in dual POV.

Itch isn’t one to ever have thought of settling down and marriage especially not to someone so much younger than him. But when circumstances align for him to claim the beauty that saved his life, he jumps at the chance to save her right back.

Piper has been through it in her short time on earth. Her brothers are evil and only see her as a commodity, a thing they own, not a person they should love and take care of. When she takes a chance at helping a man her brothers wanted dead she never thought he would be her savior too.

Their story has a lot of heart and spice but it isn’t without angst and drama. It kept me entertained and on the edge of my seat.

As always Ms. Faiman writes intriguing characters not only the mains in the story but the secondary also.
