What a great read! I loved reading Christy Mihaly's new Little Golden Book, Mel Brooks! The nostalgia of holding a (new) Little Golden Book brought back my childhood when my parents allowed me to peruse the rack and choose one of my own, a real treat! I enjoyed reading about Mel Brooks and his life. The story is solid, the illustrations just right, and there is plenty of meat for readers to enjoy. Two thumbs up for Mel Brooks (in a Little Golden Book)!
Mel Brooks had a slow start to fame. When he got there his star was bright. I really like theses Golden Book Biography. It give children a glimpse of a famous person.
