Another serviceable biography from Golden Books.

This one follows Jane's life from her childhood through her field research on chimpanzees in Africa. Mentions her marriage and later work lecuring.

Illustrations by Margeaux Lucas have much of the same feeling to them as those in the 1950's & 1960's. Lovely, but static.

Optional purchase for grades K-3.

Purchased as a gift for my nieces, who had many questions when they overheard their grandma talking about Jane Goodall's passing. It's a nice, age appropriate overview of her incredible life. The art is lovely.

I have always admired Jane Goodall, and this was such a fun little read. It had beautiful illustrations, too!

What a wonderful life Jane Goodall lived, and she did so much for animals. After reading the book we all want to the Buffalo New York Zoo.
