When someone witnesses the Disciples in the middle of a kidnapping, Digger is forced to catch the witness, and from the first words out of Matt’s mouth, Digger finds himself enchanted. He’s relieved to find out Matt is a friend of a Disciple, because even after only a few hours with Matt, he knows he would never let anyone harm him. Not even if it meant keeping himself out of prison. Falling for Matt is the easiest, if not the scariest, thing he’s ever done.
Getting kidnapped wasn’t on Matt’s bucket list, but neither was falling in love with his kidnapper. Despite the circumstances of their first meeting, there is something soft and almost sweet about Digger, and try as he may, Matt can’t stay away from him for long. Digger understands Matt in ways no one else ever has, and he quickly crawls under Matt’s skin, seemingly with no intention of ever leaving.
The darkness surrounding Digger threatens to pull Matt down into the abyss with him. If Matt can’t handle it, Digger may have to say goodbye to his only chance at forever. If someone else doesn’t take Matt from him first.
Ana Night is a writer of suspenseful gay romance. She’s an avid reader who has loved the written word since she discovered it. When she was a kid, she never went anywhere without a notebook. She was always writing, be it in the backseat of the car, between classes in school, or by the pool on vacations.
Ana is a self-proclaimed expert in hugging, people climbing and especially ugly dancing. When she’s not writing, you can find her with her nose buried in a book, singing and dancing, watching her favorite TV shows, or creating book covers.
Ana lives in Denmark where she spends most of her time running from her ninja kitty—that one goes for the ankles—and getting lost in the woods with her horse.
This book was an okay read, nothing special about it. Second time they met, they fucked and the rest was history. Even though Digger was a godsend to Matthias, very understanding to Matthias quirkiness but still their romantic relationship wasn't deep and rather shallow and it reminds me a lot of Tex and Sawyer's story.
Is there a story about Nico and Arkady Vasiliev? I'd love to read about their story.

Digger is an excellent addition to the King's Disciples MC series and I loved it. This is a well written story with amazing characters and I love how the relationship between Matt and Digger develops even though their first meeting is pretty intense and very scary for Matt. They are exactly what the other needs and they are my favorite couple in this series so far. I love how they accept each other and how supportive and caring they both are. The secondary characters are great, I love seeing how some of the couples from the previous books are doing, the ending is perfect and I can't wait to read the next book in this exciting series.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

This was a negative surprise after having liked the two previous books. To begin with, it was frustrating in the sense that I had liked both characters in the previous books, so it was quite disappointing to see them like this. I thought that Digger's book would be more intense, dark, with a burning passion and not this meh, badass who spends more time shooting at targets in the forest or lost in thought at work. On the other hand, when I saw that his partner would be Matt, I thought: cool. Matt would be the breath of lightness to Digger's intensity, in addition to being funny, of course. Guess what? Matt is dull, boring, a master of rambling, his lines were only funny to the author and Digger. Well, what can you expect from Sawyer's best friend, the other half of the apple, a festival of boredom.
If I decide to reread this series at some point, I will definitely skip this book and think of something to fill the empty space.
The only part I liked was when Matt and Texas were taken away and all the drama and action, but then Digger comes in, alone and kills almost everyone and his friends only arrive at the end and I still don't understand why this happened. Did they take a shortcut and get lost? Were they voting to see if they would save, if not their brother's romantic partner, at least their other brother who was also taken away? Did the motorcycles run out of gas and they stopped to fill up and have a snack? With each word I add to this review, my score goes down, so I'm going to stop writing.
I still wish the chronological order of the story was better described or simply described in the books (but I know that this would only happen if the series was rewritten or edited), so at the very least I hope that the author's next books stick to this. It's hard to follow and get involved with the story without these little details. And of course, it also gets in the way of following the sequence of the stories that end up being introduced in the next books. You don't know what moment in the story you are at and when you get to the next book you discover that there has been a two-year jump, which also covers the time in which the events of the previous book took place.
First Matt's car wouldn't start, then he heard a scream and finally he was pinned against a car then thrown in the back of a van, kidnapped. The only good thing was the kidnappers didn't want to hurt or kill him, come to find out they were friends with his best friend. When Digger spotted the young man trying to run he had to stop him because what he and his brothers were doing wasn't legal and they couldn't afford any witnesses. But,once he got his hands on the young man and he started running off at the mouth, Digger thought it was the cutest thing. He was stirring feelings in Digger that he hadn't had in a very long time and was very glad when he found out who his captive was, he was Texas's husband best friend Matt. The next time he saw Matt was at the club and one thing lead to another and that was the beginning of their life and journey together. Cute Couple!!😍😍😍
The King's MC was back in action again trying to bring down a drug ring. Poor Matt was kidnapped not once but twice. Of course Digger falls for Matt in his shy way and puts a smile on his face. Matt surprises Digger by accepting him and what the club does even if he doesn't understand it.
Digger has played a role in this series as a side character from the first book. He’s always seemed sweet/endearing (for a MC member) if a bit mysterious. His story finds him meeting the love of his life in a most unusual way. The two are thrown together and sparks fly instantaneously. From their first meeting, Digger vows to protect Matt and he will stop at nothing to keep him safe. The rest of the Disciples are on hand for cameo appearances and as side characters. The usual brotherhood shenanigans keep a nice flow to the ongoing story of the club’s work. This was a fun and quick read and nice edition to the Kings Disciples.
