She's the boss. He's off limits. But not everything in life can be business as usual...

Hannah Frederickson manages a local cultural landmark in the Country Time Bar and Grill. She knows it's up to her to keep the Hardy Falls establishment alive. But when her uncle takes off with all her money--and quite possibly the Country Time's future--Hannah must scramble to keep the doors open. Despite the potentially impossible task, she can't help but waste time daydreaming about the new bartender...

Deacon Black wants nothing more than to reestablish himself in town... and in the eyes of his long-time unrequited love, Hannah. The fact that she's his boss makes things awkward when the sparks begin to fly, but Deacon is sure they can work everything out--both the bar crisis and their budding love.

Things are looking up until Deacon takes matters into his own hands. His brash action threatens Hannah's last hope of keeping the restaurant alive, as well as their final opportunity at a second chance.

Handling It is a charming romance nestled in the Pennsylvania Poconos. If you like realistic romance, innovative plots, and spunky characters who feel like friends, then you'll love the first book in Betsy Horvath's Welcome to Hardy Falls series.

Betsy Horvath was raised on a steady diet of old MGM musicals, Nancy Drew, and Harlequin romances, so nobody should have been shocked to discover that one day she would be writing romance novels of her own. Especially not once became clear that, when given the opportunity, she could sing the entire soundtrack from the Sound of Music, regardless of whether or not anyone asked her to (nobody ever did), and that the only books she ever wanted to read were the ones with happy endings (which made things interesting in college).

Let’s face it, Betsy is a hopeless romantic. But she’s good with it.
